I regret foraying into AO3..one of the first Harry Potter fanfics I found was this...

Well that's easily one of the worst fanfictions I've seen in a while. It's not even bad in a funny way. It's just bad.

I agree. Having actually read the thing I can tell you the writing and grammar is poor, the characters are OOC, and it's hardly TF2 related; it's like someone wrote all their gross fetishes into one fic and then tacked TF2 onto the end for the hell of it.
If you're looking for parody fics, this one is by far my favorite. It always makes me laugh and will soothe your mind after that monstrosity.

So you may recall one of my first posts in this thread was about MadTom, an elderly possible pedofork who was inexplicably a respected member of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Bridge to Terabithia fandoms. I've got an update. Not only did I find his powerword, I found his very own website.

Meet Lyle Francis Padilla, 59-year-old alleged former Army Reserve officer and child psychologist (shudder), current writer for fandoms geared at people much younger than himself where everyone gets naked, as well as owner of a site that looks like baby's first Angelfire. I see he's got Wonder Years and Buffy fics there, which he seems to want to be turned into actual episodes for a reunion season. Right then. There's also a picture of him there, and yes, he has a pedostache.

And you know, we've ribbed on Chris and others for still liking stuff from their childhood when they're thirty, but if you ask me liking stuff from childhoods long after your own when you're sixty is worse. Especially since he seems to like them in THAT way...

I've seen a few Hitler trollfic mentions here, but I figured I'd throw in my personal favorite, mainly because it reads like it's an author who started out in jokefic/trollfic territory and went too fucking deep for their own good. By about chapter 2, I can't tell if they're still doing this because it's funny or if they're really digging it at this point.

Bonus, it's not just ol' Adolf, but in fact a Stalin/Putin/Hitler three-way nipplefest. I'd always thought the "Fifty Shades of Red" Trotsky/Stalin coffeeshop alternate universe was my all-time favorite, but this one kinda takes the cake.

Also, the Mulder/Scully airport Chili's fic may be worth mentioning. Another classic, in my book. Because nothing gets the engines revving like fake vinyl booth seating and jalapeno poppers, the sweet sound of flight cancellation and gate change announcements echoing out over the PA system in the main terminal just outside. I've never read the full thing myself, but the excerpts I've encountered and the general concept has always been pretty great. "Musky with fear" is a grade-A descriptor, and I've always felt for the poor waiter having to deal with all this going down in his section.
 

The fic may not seem that bad, until you realize that the two characters who are 15 marry. Still it's miles tame to most fics that have been put up here.

Also, what the hell is going on in the reviews of the linked fanfic? Is someone trying to ween the story's author by spamming garbage? Or was it actually some guy trying to share his fanfic idea?
 
I do not read much of Transformers fanfiction, so that more just confused me because they're still robots, alien or not.

As for that shitty Team Fortress 2 fanfiction, "Breed," I started trying to read it, as did one of my friends. It is worse than the tags could truly indicate. And it turns out that sort of thing is common for the author when it comes to stories, when you look at what other stuff they've written. Because fanfic readers have no standards whatsoever and will usually only not like something if it is a trollfic written intentionally bad.

If you can't take the heat, don't make an oc whose defining character trait is that he is a feral man who rapes an out of character 'wife' just because you have a rape fetish.

You should read the short vignette of a forced amputee scout getting passed around like a sex doll, you may as well just replace the characters names with anyone that's how shitty their stories are written.
