Welp. That offers one explanation for the contrast between "good Christian novelist" Gloria and "sexy rap star/model" Gloria. Maybe the reason that her image seems so bipolar at times is because of conflicting influences from her parents.

Also, that makes the fact that Momma Tesch curates Gloria's Facebook/Instragram pages even more disturbing. Given the physical resemblance between the two and Momma Tesch's desperate attempts to rock that sexy schoolgirl outfit, I kind of have to wonder if maybe she's the one who enjoys the attentions of creepy older men.
 
Well, at least there's no mystery to which KF post Kengle will be spanking it to tonight.

Wonder what Ma Tesch's opinion on Batman nurse scrubs, buffalo cubes, and dark confined crawlspaces is.

She's like one of those moms who signs their daughter up for beauty pageants as a way to live vicariously through them and revel in the fact that "well, they're my kid, so they look like me, and therefore I'm beautiful!"

Only instead of beauty pageants Momma Tesch is using her own daughter in order to glean sexual gratification from rapey men on the internet.

Sounds to me like mummy can't let go of her schoolgirl days and is trying to live the life vicariously through her daughter.. Especially if she's still trying to rock that outfit..

To be fair, Momma Tesch does have the body shape for it, but then you get to her face and it's like, "honey, please, dial back on the makeup by about 50% and put on a nice pantsuit or something. Act your age."

Pretty much what I was thinking. She seems lost in her past and wishing she was still her daughter's age, therefore tries to make her daughter a famous model, and a writer, etc etc, all the things she wanted to do but couldn't perhaps?

Which just continues to beg a more pressing question: does Gloria even have a personality? She's basically this cobbled together mixture of both her parent's psychotic dreams, and from what we've seen she appears to lack a basic understanding of human emotions. I have to wonder if Gloria really does have some kind of developmental disability that her parents decided to take advantage of by channeling their aspirations through an unquestioning child.

Now I feel kind of sorry for all those times I've shit on Gloria's horse teeth. Between Marina and Gunther, she couldn't have had a worse hand dealt to her by the genetic lottery in that respect bar being a relation of Mr. Ed.

Now I've seen those photographs Gloria had taken when she had barely turned 18 I all of a sudden feel for being so dismissive towards the people saying they thought some day she'd end up doing porn. It seems Gunther and her mum are more than willing to exploit their daughter in whatever way benefits them the most and it's sad.

Like it's said already, it's almost like Gloria has no personality of her own it's almost pretty certain that all the things we've laughed about such as the book trailer, the drive behind the film and the reaction to negative responses have exclusively came from Gunther instead of Gloria. Her whole life is a lie, it speaks volumes when you see how much perception towards her gradually changes in this thread.

I'd almost be happy enough if this thread title ended up being changed to "The Tesch Family," or something similar.
 
There really is no information about her actual life online.
I can find plenty of stuff mostly about Gunter (some of it linked before), but nothing about Glo-Glo.
I wonder if her non-existant online footprint is intentional.
 
wow, the Tesch family is full of polar opposites and Gloria is like a Frankenstein of both of them, its like a southern gothic drama novel.
 
Yeah, it's what I've been saying, Gloria is forced to play a role. She has no idea who she really is because she's never been allowed to be herself. She needs to get out of that toxic environment and get into therapy to clean all the crap her parents taught her out of her head.

  • Marina’s style and choices of subjects allow the viewer to relate to her world wide famous paintings of the Book Covers and Book Illustrations of the Maradonia Saga.
  • Marina was born in Moscow, Russia and ... [e]ventually she met her American husband, moved to California ... where she was able to concentrate her efforts on her love of painting.
  • Marina's latest projects have been involved with painting murals all over the nation.
Then, check out the titles of some of her works: In addition by including evidence of human existence in Marina’s Art Expo, such as ‘The Clown Fish in the Net of Life’… ‘In the Belly of Prophecy’… ‘The Crown of Thorns and the Man of Pain’…‘The Eyes of the Lion’…‘The King of all Saints’… ‘The Holy City on the Horizon’…‘The Skull’… and ‘The Attack of the Twin Brothers’ etc. and remember that -- in addition to her God-fearing Christian art -- she also takes highly sexualized photos of her teenaged daughter.

Does anyone remember that "Finding Nemo" mural that was painted on one of the rooms in the Tesch house? Could we be seeing a pic of the young Tesch family here?
