I mean at this point this is just people being creepy. As far as I'm concerned if you're sexualizing this 2D character something is wrong with you. Especially if you're older then a teenager who hasn't been laid

The Cunny/Shotadick fanbase in Gacha gaming is unfortunately a vocal minority as it leads to video memes like this

In other news, Nexon CEO bites it and learning he was 28 when he founded the company really makes me want to do a Virgin vs Chadpost about how the generation who grew up in the best year of gaming ended up being crowded out and being angry adult men who saw the industry get pozzed while he died doing what he loved, making games with Booba and cunny

Finally, the South Korean government had to step in and make him touch grass.

"Uogggghhh cunny!!!" Is the reason...unless they realizes it's a shota.

Also seeing Tiny Tina Wonderlands on EGS had me thinking about how despite two massive game flops that had EoS, Randy Pitchford can't be stopped and somehow got the last laugh on Activision as they ended up being ruined by lawsuits and now he has a sugar daddy with Timmy.

Just capitalism rewarding shit people
nah, while it still sold a lot I don't see that much buzz around it like for BL2. all his other games flopped, gearbox is basically known as "the borderlands studio and the ones who fucked up aliens and duke". he also can't be that successful after he sold his company to embracer. so even if he made cash it's still pedorandy full of ego, the bad impression people have stings far more than any money could make up.

My problem is while the execs at Blizzard is basically in freefall and unlikely able to setup another company to make unwoke games

There's literally dozens upon dozens of unwoke games, Far Lone Sails has it's sequel coming out soon. Elden Ring just came out, Voice of The Cards also just had it's sequel recently released and this is just within the past month.

VR Is Here to Stay. It's Time to Make It Accessible

The platform is relatively new—which means now is the opportunity to advocate for all players.
With muscular dystrophy, Hawley cannot stand and can only move her right hand a few inches; she cannot move her left. She has an Oculus Quest 2, but she is limited in what she can play. /../ Something like the Anne Frank House VR tour, an experience that should be accessible to all, is filled with barriers that make the tour impossible to complete.

Content creator and accessibility consultant James Rath shares Teensma’s sentiments about the inaccessibility of VR for blind and low-vision users.

I just thought it was funny.

Engineers should totally design around fringe medical cases that affect a tiny percentage of the population. Also love the tacit admission that there's no point owning VR anyway since all you get are artsy walking sims and variations on duck hunt.

I'm more annoyed that this "woman" has a rig that can handle VR, fuckin bitch.

VR is shit, VR games are Shit, it is a Gimmick and forcing gaming down the path of VR will just end in lame ass First Person Shooters, Walking Simulators, and Slashy Games that make Skyrim look deep as fuck.

Why the fuck are they making an Anne Frank simulator when any Bethesda title can give you the same experience of being stuck between walls?

VR works well for stuff like Myst and any type of first person puzzle game. Also 3d Platformers are another genre that benefits from it. It's a bit jarring at first but it's jarring in a way like how Mario 64 was jarring the first time, once you get used to it it becomes second nature to how a 3d platformer works in VR. Stuff like distance can be judged better and since your head is the camera the levels are designed in such a way to accommodate that.

Myst is shit, it was shit when the technology at the time forced a powerpoint-esque limitation on it, it was shit when it was released as realMyst, and it is shit now in VR. 3D platformers are even worse in VR, everything is great until you have a dozen dinguses or a helicopter or whatever the fuck else the devs thought would make a great "cinematic" sequence just for you to have to slowly aim your fucking wii controllers to the next platform.

In conclussion the current generatiom of VR is a pointless gimmick, you are clearly a mindless drone that cares more for "Deep narratives" and "Cinematic experiences" that your dull and underpowered computer manufactured by chinese child labor provides you over quality and the Switch still outsells the ps5 at least 2 to 1.

Nigger.

Actually I think story as a surface level element and in the end only exists just because of the gameplay and not he other way around.

The narrative is a framework or skeleton, it's not the meat of the actual game. Like people will bitch about Soulsborne series having deep and immersive lore but fucking item descriptions and some environmental hints at shit is not the purpose or main driver of the series. It's a set up of challenges and hurdles the player must cross and conquer at every turn. The series has never had good quest design but that dates back to even king's field and having hidden items behind walls that look like normal ass walls(requiring you to essentially walk around and mash the interact button until you hopefully find something), quests and side content were never the series driving force either, it's always been exploring dungeons laid out with a large variety of enemies with a load of movesets and beating bosses. It's a series very much based around proper level design right down to enemy placement.

Monster Hunter is set up in a somewhat similar way but they do not have such a dearth of level variety and just requires you memorizing the handful of levels and their layout throughout your many hundreds of hours of play. The boss move set designs is what keeps it fresh.

As far as Chinese forced labor upon children, those little shits probably deserve worse. Many of those 6 year olds that started out selling gold on WoW are old enough to run their own government owned slave factory operations at this point. This would not have spiraled into a corrosive epidemic that spread across every aspect of online games if some people were not so rudely interrupted and were allowed to finish what they started at Nanking.

I think that's just the kind of stuff that game journos play.

I don't own a VR headset (yet) but my understanding is that things like free movement have been solved. The PSVR2 is getting a lot of hype because PSVR was bad, but Sony actually payed for AAA content. PSVR2 is looking good, and if Sony continues to pay for exclusives like they have been, it could be good for VR.

Because of the problems with VR such as high price, high system requires, and a lack of good games, AAA devs and wokescolds have largely ignored it. Now it's picking up momentum again, wokists are going to try and make it a culture war battle group, but it's to little, to late.
