BABD made a complaint about the Elder Scrolls with the female creatures and how females were dressed. First thing to note, their statement on Daggerfall about encountering scantily clad females, those were prostitutes you come across and they would of had a role beyond being just someone to talk to (though that got axed during development) and the ones you'd find in some temples also had scantily clad males, which for both genders can be fitting when considering they are worshippers of Dibella (basically, think a non-evil Slaanesh). Also, as for the lamia they and the tumblr they quote, that thing isn't human. It's skin would not only be scaly but also leathery (it looks like a mutated Argonian). Female monsters with tits could be used as design to incorporate a sort of sense to say that while something is of humanoid shape doesn't mean its human but rather a beast. Plus these sort of things exist in real life mythology as well.
 
The craziest thing to me is SJWs are all in favor of letting real women walk around nude if they want to because fuck the patriarchal scum who try to police our bodies! But for some reason fictional women in video games and movies have to have zero percent skin showing 100% of the time. Is this cognitive dissonance weird as hell to anyone else?

I've seen groups like TMS who support Free the Nipple, but won't shut up about Quiet. It baffles me as well.

If I were to take a stab at it, I'd say it's because attacking a fictional woman doesn't take as much balls as attacking a real woman. If you yell at a woman for making choices that "enable the patriarchy", obviously you're gonna look like a dick and a hypocrite. However, fictional women don't have any personal agency, and generally the mediums they target involve a whole team of creative people with a chip in how the characters are portrayed. They're also more "out of the picture", so it's easy to prop them up as some Evil Cishet Dudebro Conspiracy. If some woman on the team or in the audience happens to be offended by their claims, they can just say "no, it's not about YOU, it's about the MALES CONTROLLING THE INDUSTRY".

That wouldn't explain why the SJWs oogle for magical girls, namely Madoka Magica, because that series was designed by a man, I think. At least they can say that Sailor Moon was created by a woman, but that's it.

Next thing you know, you and the rest of the area is being swarmed by a bunch of tumblurites because you like something they don't. There are no survivors and the Tumblurites get off scot-free out of "Being oppressed by the law".

What, there's a possibility it could happen. A slim one, given these people probably don't go outside that often, but still.

The character designer for Madoka is Ume Aoki, a female artist.

SJW anime fans aren't terribly consistent when it comes to their beliefs vs. the animes that push their sperger buttons. Just look at the FUNimation prison school debacle; a gaggle of SJWs proudly working on a BDSM sexploitation show. Or you'll see Sarkeesian-parroting tumblrtards talking about how much they love shit like Gurren Lagann, where suddenly it's okay for a chick to be topless all the time and used primarily as fap bait.

Anime just keeps getting this weird reprieve with these people.
