I don't even think it's virtue signaling. I think Baked finally just inflicted a bunch of butthurt on people able to do something about it and they're seeking revenge. I think when that prosecutor had to pore through all of Baked's insufferable videos, he saw this Chhhhhhanukah sign thing and sent it straight to Phoenix.

If Baked is lucky, this is the only one of his many other dumb crimes on video that he gets prosecuted for. Most of them are trivial bullshit but if they felt like it, they could probably shower him with at least a dozen more in other places.

Keem released a video talking about why he's retiring. He's retiring on March 8th on his 40th birthday. Keem is looking for a replacement for Drama Alert.
He's retiring for these reasons:
1. Cancel Culture has made people scared of speaking their minds so they've become walking talking billboards because of this.
2. The Youtube community is not as tight-knit as it used to be.
3. The tip line is being used to try to #MeToo Youtubers and Keem doesn't find that fun.
4. Youtube has made it harder for people to watch the content they subscribed to.
5. Keem wants to leave the house and it's hard to do so when he has to be on call 24/7 for Drama Alert in case any drama happens.

While this is likely to be appealed, Dragonlord has been sentenced to two years in prison with no chance of probation, due to multiple counts of insults and infliction of bodily harm/assault (towards visitors).
He had previously been sentenced to 7 months probation for pepperspraying a visitor, and has had previous run ins with the law due to other minor assaults.
Originally a verdict was expected on the 28th (two days were scheduled) but they got through it in a single day.
The defense asked for 2 years on probation (citing Dragonlord's willingness to move and lay low, having recently sold his decrepit ruin house which he will move out of in January), the state asked for 2.5 years without probation. Judge "compromised" on 2 years without probation.

A complete recounting of the day in court can be found translated here - a court psychologist also diagnosed him with an "Intelligenzminderung" (reduced intelligence) which denotes an IQ in the range of 50-70 and narcissistic traits.

A couple of explanations as to his background and pre-youtube existence that may not have been covered by Dankula can be found in the previous pages, where the Germankiwis have been switching to English in anticipation of this event.


To clarify : Insulting people publicly (or disseminating insults through a public medium) is punishable under German law - think slander basically. Rainer regularly insulted the police and individual policemen / patrols in his streams when they did not arrive fast enough for his taste (he would call them multiple times daily, basically whenever someone visited him and expected them to show up within minutes)

The state is appealing his sentence (wishing for a sharper judgement than merely 2 years) and the next trial is set for the 23rd of march. In the meantime he has continued to escalate the situation.

Rainer Winkler, the Dragonlord, sold the family house that at least 3 previous generations of Winklers had lived in and got about 75k out of it, of which he immediately spent a large portion to purchase a Ford Ranger - a car as inconspicuous and massive on the streets of Europe as its driver:

He spent another 5K on a Valve Index VR Headset and a GPU, only to put everything into storage mere weeks later (investing another 2k into a gaming laptop).

After the sale, he remained at the house for quite a while, while he and his local government looked for other living arrangements (in the hopes that, ideally, a permanent residence far far away from the village could be found, because they really wanted to be rid of him) - no one was able to secure a new place of residence, as no one in their right mind would want to rent to him for obvious reasons.

While still in his native village, he, in one instance, attempted to "follow" (read: run over) a group of his detractors in a random field, only to become stuck.

He finally left the house at the end of February. When he inherited it, it was by no means modern or luxurious, but with some upkeep could have been a charming rural homestead - in fact, historic maps show buildings there as early as 1860.

Note that obviously this was not just a single two story building, but a house with a garage and some nice little side buildings for storage and a workshop, which his father made extensive use of to keep things in decent shape. In times where space is at a premium (and rural retreats are valuable commodities), it is incredible to think what could have been.

He immediately doxed his storage place by leaving it a public 5 star review on Google, causing detractors to somehow successfully cancel his contract. He is now throwing everything besides the PC out. He has nothing besides the few things that fit in his car, and is, for all intents and purposes, a homeless vagabond.

Since then, he has been cruising through Germany, Austria and Italy, his detractors always hot on his heels - on the very first night, his car was immediately identified at a hotel in Frankfurt, causing him to pack up and leave within the hour. He would drive 3000 miles in a matter of about two weeks, in a time when gas has never been more expensive, vlogging his paranoia all the way. It is assumed that of the 75k, having also paid off some previous debts, less than 10k remain after less than 6 months (there is speculation that his funds have in fact dried up almost entirely at this point).

His house has now been demolished and the German hater-sphere is waiting with baited breath for the outcome of the second trial - at which point, this thread will probably be featured once again.
