I have the normal one I got from Pokemon's 10th anniversary event when I was 5 years old. It's my oldest Pokemon Doll (although not the oldest Pokemon plushie I have - I think that's a Psyduck and a Pikachu from 1995/1996). Deoxys pictured below:

(TIL MyFigureCollection has a plush section)

On another note, I am sort of obsessed with this penguin butler from Ditz Designs. I'd imagine it'd be pretty expensive since some of the regular plushies are upwards of 70 dollars.

Those Deoxys plushies are so cute! Shame none of these things were in my area of the UK when I was a kid. I would've bought the defense one.

Also that penguin butler plushie makes me feel really nostalgic. Way back in the old days before my area experienced the wonders of cultural diversity we had a department store that had a christmas display with animatronic emperor penguins similar to that plushie. Judging from the size and the quality of the doll I wouldn't be surprised if it was about 400-500 pounds (roughly 600-700 in dollars).

This is Jezebel. Rather ugly, and extremely grubby, and has been in my life for as long as I remember.

I’d like to say she’s called Jezebel because I was a strange and gifted toddler, but she’s supposed to be a dog, and some friends had a dog called Jezebel, that’s all. My other soft toys were called imaginative things like Orange Ted and Little Ted and Panda.

Although I do also have a big stone that has similarly been in my life for as long as I remember, so perhaps I was a little strange, even if not gifted.. Or perhaps I’m not the only one? Any scope for a thread on childhood stones?!

While I don't have any photos rn (can post later) I have a large assortment of stuffed animals. Some from my childhood, some from recent times (I actually went to Build A Bear shortly after my birthday to get an AC Winter Tom Nook, yes I am autistic). Some are animals, some are video game characters or anime based, and some are precious gifts from family members. Although I usually just name my animals as whatever character/animal they are (like my cow pillow pet named Moo Cow), my favourite is a strange little cat plush I got from my Grandfather as a kid, who is named Carmichael. I believe my Grandpa named him, but all these years later I still bring that weird little cat wherever I go. :)

I bought this thing last year. TBH, it took over a month to arrive and I was almost sure I got conned until it arrived. I love him.

They're not realistic, but Amuse (the Alpacasso company) makes a bunch of sea animal plushies.

I actually got my first Jellycat today - the squiggle kitty. It's super soft. At the store I got Squiggle at, there was another stuffed animal I had my eye on by a company I'd never heard of called Bunnies by the Bay. It's a company moreso aimed at babies and toddlers, but the plushies are adorable and soft. https://bunniesbythebay.com/

Left is the Squiggles kitty, right is a Bunnies by the Bay dog stuffed animal.

ETA: Honeymaru makes a cute axolotl.
The company I get my kids’ diapers from started selling the jellycat plushies. I’ve been really debating on getting each of them one. They look so cute.

I got one of these at Costco a couple months ago and freaking LOVE it. https://images.costco-static.com/Im...2026540&imageId=1566067-847__1&recipeName=350

My mom had numerous miscarriages before I was the winner of the swim race. She was given a Tigger plush for me. I have kept it ever since, so it's older than be my about 4 years. I will never get rid of it. It'll be sat happily on my headboard until I croak.
