In other words, if you can successfully create a game to run acceptably under those conditions, you get a free 30% performance boost on release and will be praised for actually creating a well-performing product.
 
I for one am sincerely looking forward to seeing how much further they can butcher that ancient-ass engine and still crank out a game that can even fucking boot on a modern system. :story:

Should be obvious, it's been 14 years since that company released a good game. Think about the amount of staff turnover in that time, or even the amount of the old guard that just retired. That's stacked against the stupid hiring spree all game studios have done for the lowest quality employees possible.

That choice of words stood out. Premium and curated suggest that Xbox is moving further into high-end territory of $1000-1500 and away from affordability that defined the Xbox.

I love Windows integration and AI features, the next console will totally be worth $1000-$1500 lmao.

They've just lost the plot so hard it's hard to listen to. The only thing that would begin to stop this downward spiral would be a video montage of Phil Spencer fist fighting every CEO of a subsidiary studio that hasn't released a game in 5 years like the ending of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

It is wild to think that the game was announced as being in preproduction in 2018, 2 years before the PS5 had come out. It has been 7 years since that announcement and will likely come out as a cross-gen title for PS5/PS6. Can't wait for TES6 to be re released and remastered for every piece of hardware under the sun for the next 15 years after that, just like Skyrim before it.

It won't have the legs Skyrim had, I think.

There's something in the whole Viking aesthetic that stuck out with Skyrim. I personally like Redguards, but I don't think a North Africa/Arabian aesthetic is going to work as well. Especially with the growing anti-woke trends.

Of course, I'm assuming that it is JUST going to be Hammerfell and not a Hammerfell/High Rock/Orsinium combo.

The only real question about the death of Xbox is whether it’s intentional so Microsoft can leave the console business, and try to be profitable as a third party, or if they really are that incompetent and genuinely can’t see why they are tanking Xbox.

If I had to guess, it because the Indian CEO believes that by forcing a 30% profit margin on Xbox that they will suddenly pull themselves up by the bootstraps and become mega successful. It's a very boomer esque type of thinking, and if it fails, they will just let Phil Spencer hold the bag and blame it all on him. Sarah Bond for sure won't be taking credit for it failing, and Phil being the cuck that he is, will take the fall. They're stupid.

The pajeet nigger CEO is getting close to $100 million this year off of a $17 million annual raise. None of this is sustainable.
