30 bucks a month so I can play Ubislop
If you think about it, many Ubisoft games regularly went on sale. That gave me a hunch that Ubisoft+ was planning to be a GP benefit. So now, for $10 more, you’re granted assess to older Assassin Creed titles and their Hasbro licensed games.

If you’ve seen their Monopoly titles, they look soulless and generic. I even think UNO runs sluggish. EA had the Hasbro license before, even their games had more personality than what Ubisoft brings to the table.

So many people are trying to cancel Game Pass that it broke the website, lol.

This reminds me, I have a free three month pass from when I bought my S|X.
Wonder if it's still good.

I'm glad I cancelled my recurring billing at the start of the month. I was already getting tired of their bullshit then. Even though I was using mostly MS Rewards to get my subscriptions.
I checked on my end, I’m still recurring at $20. I guess the price hike did not go into effect yet.

I know a couple Assassin Creed titles were included in GPU. Does that mean they'll be phased out for Ubisoft+?

Really stupid decision.

The main appeal of Gamepass was that it was "cheaper" than buying full priced games (as in it was a relatively cheap subscription that people would get and forget about until something interesting came out). Back at $15, even $,20, you could argue that "Oh, I'll at least play or check out enough new games every three months where it's worth it." Now though, it's at the price point where you're better off either buying a new game, or multiple older games, every month or so.

I fell into that category and just canceled. In all fairness, I was debating on canceling a while ago, but the recent news just reminded me to do so.

They didn't even have the courtesy to throw in a WoW sub with it. Not that it makes it much better, but on paper it's still a better value than this.

What a miscalculation.

EDIT: An they still won't put 15 year old Call of Duty games on it.

This has been the case with everything in gaming when it hit the digital age man. They look at Netflix and Music and are like "we can do that", not realizing the theater aspect or the live music aspect. Hell digital games period were supposed to be cheaper, which they were say 2011 to 2013 but in the long wrong that was a farce. The whole boiling a frog thing in action.

I tried both Gamepass and PSPlus. Gamepass so I could try out the service and Halo Infinite when that dropped. And Gamepass to try out Dad of War 2018. And I dropped both after the trial expired. Gaming as a subscription doesn’t work for me as I don’t want to spend all that money to have nothing to show for it when I cancel.

Notice the asterisk on the Premium tier. It excludes Call of Duty titles. So, they're banking on CoD launches to carry Game Pass Ultimate. I wouldn't put it pass them to drip feed CoD titles for Game Pass Ultimate.

Insanity, they will literally lose their entire European/UK base with this. It's over twice the price of YouTube Premium, I at least use the fuck out of premium. I believe this is a way to recoup the money they gave to OpenAI.

First, the Xbox Series S|X consoles are going up in price, now their subscriptions are as well. You can't blame this on tariffs.

Halo reach was like the last time Xbox really pushed through with their games, marketing and everything. After that it went down hill slowly but surely and now we're. Phil Spencer headass has a fetish for public humiliation the way he talks about the company as a whole. Kat getting gunned down by a sniper was like the last moment Xbox was good

Halo 4 was the last new game I ever bought on Xbox. As much as that game was a dumpster fire, it’s better than most of their games that came out since then.
