It's pretty clear now that no Xbox first party game is off the table, Phil Spencer blatantly lied about they're big games like Indiana Jones and Starfield never releasing on rival platforms. Microsoft and it's investors want they're return on investment for spending 80 billion+ dollars on gaming acquisitions and they want it as soon as possible even if it means the death of the Xbox brand in the long run. No hardware maker can survive the long term without any exclusive content, sure going third party can temporarily increase revenue and profits for they're formerly exclusive games but it's a death sentence for the Xbox hardware itself since people will just buy the games on PC or Playstation and not buy Xbox's any longer ( and this assumes that people on other platforms will actually buy these games considering how bad some of them are ).
People ( rightfully ) mock him all the time for the stupid things he did in the past but crapgamer is right when he says that Phil Spencer is the worst thing that ever happened to Xbox, even Don Mattrick was a better CEO, how can you buy 40+ studios and still have a worse line up of first party games than 2013-2016 era Xbox with just 5 studios in it's roster, it's unbelievable.
