I wonder if it's more than that.

As big a whale as DSP is, I'd bet it's nearly impossible for him to lose either.

I do watch a couple of streamers periodically because I'll admit that this game fascinates me some times. Not enough to actually play it ever, but enough to see what other people are doing.

I've seen some smaller streamers/content creators lose, but the bigger ones almost never lose.

I'm willing to bet that DSP wins 99%+ of his battles, and I'm not exaggerating that number. He MIGHT lose 1 or 2 battles per week if he gets a really bad loadout, but with trainers and stuff these guys start with their finishers already powered up. Also, a lot of their finishers are stuff like "create 8 new blue blocks" so that they have combos where they hit their moves AND power up their moves for the next turn.
Generally, in those games if you know what you're doing it's almost impossible to lose against the AI, unless you get lucksacked or go up against a mega-whale, simply because you get to pick a team to counter what the AI is doing.

Just like when he plays video games, he is afraid of possible human interaction.
That isn't what surprised me so much. What I'm blown away by is the extent to which Phil is a slave to a fucking program. He seeks clout, which he no-so-secretly gets by spending anywhere from fifty to a hundred dollars a day beating the computer on a shitty mobile game, which he then flexes on other pathetic idiots who are addicted to said garbage.

This is what I remind myself of any time I feel the urge to smash something rising due to Phil being an ass: the fact that clout-chasing in the stupidest manner possible is why he has no money from his twelve years in internet entertainment.
It only takes one or two TIHYDPs to realize that DSP gets no satisfaction from overcoming challenging obstacles.

Anything that gets between him and "Press X to win" gameplay is the developer's fault for putting in "beginner's traps."

I'd bet DSP rages at the 0.8% of matches that he does lose because "the developers should have known to put in more green gems for me to win!"
Everything I've thus far learned about Phil has me absolutely convinced that you are right. Even in gacha, there is no way that any losses just roll right off his hairy back, because he although he can retain information, it still doesn't factor in to the equation when his anger kicks in. He memory-holes his victories and bitches about any losses in private just as much as he does on camera. They're never a comfort to him if they're in the past or the future, they have to be the present.

If he didn't have so many other reasons to keep silent about this, the fact that it destroys all his credibility as a gamer would certainly be enough on its own.

New faction!

New faction!
So busy on his day off.. Barely has time to spend with his wife.. All his expendable income goes to bills.. His parents still have to help support him and buy him AND his wife things.. I dont play mobile games anymore.. Chargebacks are ruining me.. It's the trolls fault I'm in this position..

Any other ones I'm missing?

Hello Champions, it looks like everyone who plays sweaty man jpg simulator is receiving a 5 star bronze Honky Tonk man jpg for a limited time. While Phil will be receiving the free limited time jpg, he will be whaling to permanently add it to his roster.

Well the front facing site only updates every three days or so; on there he's still listed as not only in The Black Pearl, but their best fighter over the past 30 days.

I wonder what could have happened to lead them to kick their best performer out of the faction...
He probably wasn't helping other faction members.
The WWE Champions Portal confirms this, listing his 30-day win rate at 99.2%. It really only further confuses me how somebody can get attached to it if the difficulty is trivial. It's one thing to buy MTX if there's a competitive endgame to entice you or good community that you're a part of, but VIP 13 Champions seems only like a chore that you dump your paycheck into.
Just like video games, he feels they're meant to be played in baby mode.

He's not expected to have a way to communicate with these losers outside of the app. Wonder if that was his incentive to join them?
That's not what the 3rd sentence says. lol

Has anyone bothered to ask/or gotten an answer from NawtDSP why he adamantly refuses to flip the mic on for a few seconds or do anyone of the thousand simple things that would put an end to his situation once and for all and chooses instead to prolong what undoubtedly is at least a massive constant inconvenience?

Sons of Smackdown... Huh. I guess he's really desperate for a faction, considering he was relentlessly trolled for years by the Sons of *someone*.

Yes. He has various excuses. He is never going to do this. I don't know why people keep hoping he will. He has had so long to work on a lie that at this point almost nothing would prove his innocence anyway.

If he wants to submit to a full public forensic audit of his entire life by a trained, antagonistic professional who wants to incriminate Phil AND he somehow comes out of that squeaky-clean AND he gets sworn statements from Scopely, PayPal, and every mobile game store that he has never used WWE Champions then I will believe him. Do you think Phil will go to all that trouble? Neither do I.

I don't know what his exact answer was, but the guild leader of Uselessness gave him the option of staying in the guild if he proved his innocence and we all know what happened next. I think he has had the option with other guilds as well, but even if he didn't, the actual owner of the account would not have let that first opportunity slip through their fingers like that. Not unless they are Phil Burnell, which they are.

I like how everyone in the new faction has a default handle, i.e. a name followed by several numbers. Almost like the faction is made up of bots and no real humans want to play with him.

The thing that fucks me up so much about the Champions thing is it's not even like CWC where at least, at the VERY least, I can say that the shit he hoards is physical, and not that he ever would, is sellable (outside the grime on everything). That's part of the appeal with things like trading cards and action figures- you can sell them if you ever lose interest in them. That aside, if you are someone who is interested in being a collector, it can be pretty cool to have a binder full of cards or a shelf with a bunch of lego on it or something, even comic collectors display them on their walls. With this I just can't understand it. It's literally meaningless pixels that you literally waste money on. I can't even call it pathetic because I just understand it that little

At least true gambling has the possibility of earning you a reputation and profit, however slim. A few nights spent sleeping on the streets of Vegas would at least be a story to tell.
Gacha can’t even be classified as gambling or gaming. It’s exploitation of the mentally feeble, people with zero impulse control or who have insatiable cumbrains.

Or in Phil's case, the powerful desire to clout-chase.

What's truly fucked up about that is that since his mobile gaming goes back to at least 2013, that means clout-chasing is an inherent part of his personality, because although by that time he had a rep within the FGC, his rep on YouTube wasn't so bad yet that needing to hide in a gacha game made a lot of sense. Shit, Phil probably gotten hooked before evilaj even posted the first ever TIHYDP.

This is why I hope nothing ever happens to Tokido, because if he has himself a ProJared moment, oh boy is Phil's obnoxiousness going to reach a whole new level.
