I still wish I had an explanation of why the All Time Battles count continues to decrease. Right now it's 53,191, down from 56,318 on 11/23/2020.

Just off the top of my head and with no special knowledge...

IIRC, Phil was able to get his account name changed, even though Scopley says this is impossible.
"Impossible" is, of course, meaningless. What it is is "The data model was not designed to permit a name change and we don't know how this might affect behavior." We might be seeing a case where the code was made with the assumption account name would never change, and when they did change it, they broke things unexpectedly.

Perhaps by contacting some type of customer service he could have changed his name

Someone here tried it (with a suitably desperate sob story) but they were turned down. It's not something they do for people who aren't very open wallets.

If what I see is correct Phil needs to take better care of his security, there is a way of accesing someone's accounts with the info available . I dont want to say how exactly since Phil would use it to complain about how sick in the head detractors plot to ruin his life.

Its Phil.

If he was smart about literally anything then he wouldn't be in the shithole situation he's in now, where the only true positive in his life is that he doesn't actually live in a shithole community.

And the only reason for that is that he was lucky enough to find just the right kind of retards to fund his life. He cannot credit anything positive to his intellect.

What will be interesting is that Twitch has been getting a LOT of blowback to certain decisions they've made lately while simultaneously there's going to be a new competitor service gathering steam that's supposed to launch at some point, or so I'm told by a friend who keeps his finger on the pulse of streaming as he got into it some time ago.

If the new competitor service (I forget the name) manages to prove more popular than Twitch, would Phil try to switch over in order to try and rope in more dopes or will he be too set in his ways and ride Twitch to the end?

Phil isn't going anywhere unless Twitch somehow implodes in spectacular fashion, which is unlikely at this point. Would be funny to see him go crawling back to YouTube, though.

I had to come to that realization too. That saying "If X Lolcow just did "this" then they wouldn't be in so much trouble." Then again, that person wouldn't be a lolcow in the first place.

I think it speaks to Twitch competition that Microsoft gave up on Mixer so quickly.

If Microsoft already pulled out of the market, that probably says a lot about the viability of the market.

He's invulnerable on Twitch for some reason, and I think he has enough low cunning to stick with that unless forced out.

Time will show this kind of streaming entertainment is a brief fad, as joining Guzzoline crews in an effort to rule the wasteland will be in vogue.

You know, it's interesting that Phil is not afraid of people knowing he has played mobile games that you can spend money on, or even that he has spent some money playing them. He admitted to doing so without any prompting, no one forced him to by finding anything he was trying to hide. It's very specifically the "TheyCallMeDSP" account on WWE Champions that he doesn't want to be linked to, anything else that people know seems to be fair game to him. Just as long as they don't see what any of his accounts are/were.

I find that interesting because of the following question: Why would Phil worry about a specific account being known as his unless he already had some idea that the money poured into it is enough to embarrass him?

Most likely possibility is that he found a new game to whale out in.
How much do you guys want to bet that he'll suddenly become very confidant in talking about Champions and willing to DEBUNK that he doesn't actually play it the day he deletes it from his phone and starts whaling in something else

Phil used to post on WWE Supercard forums and was very public about playing mobile games ~4 years ago. It's only different now because he regularly e-begs and stubbornly doesn't want to admit that's where his 6 figures are going. If Phil could without financial risk, he'd gladly be bragging about how he's a streaming sensation to get top billing in a faction and special treatment from Scopely.

If he was capable of doing that, it would only be because the account has maybe a grand or two spent on it. It's obviously way more than that, so no, he's not going to talk about it ever again, even if he gives it up, which he would have by now if he was going to.

That's what I'm getting at though, that he knew a long time ago that he had a shit ton of money invested in that account. Not an exact figure, but a good enough idea that way too much of his begged for money had gone into it. If it wasn't a minimum of $40k by the time it was found, he would have ditched it and either never spoken about it or just straight up said "Yeah, that was mine but now I have a new one because of trolls." He didn't do those things because he knew damn well that he had sunk tens of thousands into that account, and could not just let it go, or have it publicly linked to him.

That account is plutonium, it doesn't make any sense for him to both fear it AND want to keep it unless he knows how much money it represents. Explains why his attitude changed dramatically when the guild kicking began. He was looking a lot more smug before that, thinking that his deliberate exaggeration of the estimated figure had done the trick.

Phil always believes he can rewrite history. Whatever he says is gospel, and if you disagree, lean-in manual ban. He thinks admitting his mobile game addiction now will threaten HIS money, and that's all that matters. He's even said on his own stream multiple times that he played WWE Champions. This is just how Phil is... partly why he's the lolcow he is.

Speaking of Champions, apparently djanonzt is close to 400 Twitch subs, and Guersan is up to 157 subs but he just started Twitch recently.

So yes, there are people out there that will sub to WWE Champions streamers. There's a market for everything.

Edit: I haven't actually watched DSP's streams or restreams in a while so I looked at his last Youtube video. DSP is at 1000 subs? Did he get a really big whale?
