First week'a data. Five more wrestlers, bunch more roster talent, but less battles. Maybe that's why he's so salty about the slow streams. Does he have to keep up a certain amount of activity to not be removed from the faction? Or does lack of money mean he needs the faction to carry him more?

Also, the "all time battles" count is always decrementing. I have no idea why that is. The data isn't in reverse because each API request is unique, and the front-facing site corroborates it. If anyone knows why that number's going down I'd love to know.

There is no Scopely-enforced activity requirement, the factions all do it to themselves.

Phil has about 400 more battle wins since joining "Black Pearl" and more than one-and-a-half times the total roster talent compared to the second ranked member in the faction (link, relevant data are about one-third to one-half of the way down the page) so it can't be that he's at risk of removal - even if they have a probation period for new members he's too far ahead to not be passing. It's also hard to see the faction carrying him when he's that far ahead of anybody else.

My guess is that his complaining about slow streams is simply because he's a goddamn gambling addict, they aren't exactly known for foresight or deferred gratification. If we're going to speculate this probably also means he's still not back to using credit cards or we would have seen spikes in gameplay that do not line up with unusually high tips.

EDIT:

If anyone knows why that number's going down I'd love to know.

In my day job files in the "permanent" storage on the computing clusters only last a few months before IT auto-deletes them. The logic is that if you didn't care enough to access the data and move it to your personal drive or send it to the archives by then it couldn't have been that important to begin with. We could be seeing the same thing here, keeping players' records in the short term might be good for promotional material or disputed App Store charges but keeping it long-term just eats up space and might make players realize just how much they've wasted on this scam. "Total Roster Talent" is (very roughly) a stand-in for the same thing for players who care while still being more removed from actual time/money figures than a true lifetime total # of battles.

This makes his bitching way fucking worse, and way more obvious that not only is he an addict but interested in more than just the money. His power over his retards has slipped considerably, and he knows it.

I WOULD be enjoying this moment, but it's too early to really indulge just yet. I want to see how long the 50-bit-bitches make him sweat.

Details about this weekend's champions event. Looks like DSP will be whaling for the HOF Trish Stratus.

What's pathetic is that while Twitter can distract him from his wife on his wedding night, it could never compete with Champions for his undivided attention.

Bat signal to @Nigel of Ukip

When the tips were the lowest, you are the hero that Kiwi needs. Please get him kicked from the latest faction.
Doesn't an upcoming event make it harder to get him kicked? Phil is ten times the whale that the rest of the guild members are combined. I would expect them to need him.

Think. Does Scopely seem like the kind of company who says, "your guild did really well, here's some free stuff" or would they say, "your guild did really well, here's some more stuff you can buy".

Scopely doesn't give anything for free. Your guild got first place in an event? Great, there's a new event tomorrow.

At most you'll get shit rewards for being in the guild. The top players might get something, but being in the same guild won't get you shit.

Fair point, I just seem to recall that events were when it was good to be in a guild, or that they increased your standing more if you were. Guess not, though.

But that begs the question of why the "open wallet" comment...

From what I remember playing Champions a couple years ago, you get some faction rewards in Faction Feuds for finishing high. Like, if you're in a top 3 faction, you'll get the GOLD version of wrestlers that's useful if you're not a huge whale. But, Phil by himself won't raise these middling factions much for any significant rewards. It's probably that they see "Wow, a big name open wallet joined us! More will follow!". No, no they won't.

I don't personally play, but I guarantee if you ask anyone who does, you'll get garbage rewards. Scopely doesn't charge $200 for a handful of upgrades and also give them out for free. It's all about clout and being the best at gay bejeweled.

If anything they'll stay away because any faction with DipShitPhil in it is going to get doxed by @Nigel of Ukip.

You guys are so gullible...

How do you know that hackers didn't hack into Phil's YouTube and edit those videos to make Phil say that he still used the same phone number for a decade? Huh? These fucking trolls can use sick disgusting websites like Pigpiggo to find clips and make Phil say anything they want!

How do you know Phil wasn't just joking about having the same number? Phil is an A list improv comedian. His humor is so avant guarde that people like you trolls just don't get it. "Rambo can call me anytime because I'm too stupid to change my phone number" it was a joke!

The police report? Trolls could have easily just used inspect element to change the real phone number to the old one. "Oh, then we would have his current phone number..." umm no! Police can't release a person's personal information, it's illegal in America!

Wake up and look at the facts!

By the way, I bought a $1 lotto ticket and didn't win so I basically lost $12,000,000. If you guys could step it up and donate, it's not mandatory but I do have like 73 bills I need to pay...
Maybe the same people hacking into DSPs phone and playing this game are the same people who leaked Ethan Ralph’s sex tape? checkmate atheists. The hacker trolls that have no real goal and no desire to make themselves known are at it again.

I don't see why they wouldn't drop him even it is close to a tourney. I recall his clanmates from the last guild he was in saying he didn't really add anything of value despite his whaled out roster, and that even with him their standings hadn't really changed overmuch.
I think there were screenshots where his number of weekly "helps" or whatever is constantly zero.

This game is pay to win, scrubs. Phil ain't giving out free helps! Get good and open your wallets.

After about two weeks, these are the things that stand out to me in Phil's playing stats:
Screen Shot 2021-01-09 at 16.39.56.png

The rolling 30-day average of events played is getting lower and lower, which means he was playing more 30 days ago than he is now, and is playing far fewer battles than he normally would by a significant percentage.. If he was playing a consistent amount of battles the average would be more consistent. And it wasn't just a holiday dip. In fact over the new year's you can see the average increasing slightly, and Christmas is more games on average than the last rolling 30 days.

And the faction feud rank. I guess this is the faction's rank relative to others in pure score? To drop from 1 to 46 seems pretty dire, and with less battles, Phil isn't pulling his weight? I wish I understood what I'm looking at more.

EDIT: Also I know I'm putting the cart before the Khet by trying to fit the data to a conclusion about Phil's on-stream behavior, but this game dictates so much of his life it's probably fine as a first approximation

Unless or until Nigel intervenes there's really no downside to letting Phil stay-The guild's got open spots, some rewards are pegged to overall faction performance so he indirectly contributes a little, we even know he tries to be polite when he knows his situation is tenuous. The worst you can really say is that he could be doing more for the faction.

Faction and individual rank are tracked separately, the one you are looking at is top individual rank over the past 365 days while the "Black Pearl" faction page only lists recent rankings and they're all in the ~150-160 range. This means he would have placed #1 in a match right after Christmas Day 2019, #4 a few days later, then the #46 is fairly consistent with what we've seen in his feud results since then. My guess would be that he either got extra money from his parents or e-begging around Christmastime, blew through that, then had to cut back to a slightly less absurd amount.
