It appears as a brilliant move only because it was accidentally the exact one he needed to make. He did not know this beforehand, any more than he knew that revealing he had a cat for $2k was going to evoke no real consequences for him. He either assumes things or doesn't even think about it, and it works because of factors unrelated to anything he thought to do.

Just look at the situation with Midfirst. He has ignored it, assuming he's protected. Whether he is or not is debatable, but his assumption of it is not based on intelligence, and if he gets through it unscathed, it will be because of the law, not anything he did.

I still contend that DSP's bankruptcy got rubber stamped because dozens of autists kept emailing Nancy with all the "evidence" and she didn't want to deal with it anymore.
I thought this at first too, but with what Phil has said, I'm now not so sure. While it is in his best interest to lie about detractor influence on the bankruptcy, part of his story was that it dragged it out because of the lies that were sent to the court and they had to investigate it, even going so far as to claim he had to speak to a judge. I really get the impression that the tips about Champions actually did result in additional scrutiny.

The deciding factor was likely that he had to lie his ass off about his business expenses and they, in the end, concluded that his explanation was reasonable enough, with the added downside that they couldn't take anything from him and liquidate it like a physical yacht anyway.

Phil had no reason to say that detractors extended the case and led to a heavier investigation - he could have played the victim by just saying they harassed Nancy. Further, him admitting this implies to us that there was something worth investigating. Usually if it is something that paints Phil in a poor light with what we know, he's telling the truth and trying to sell it to the wheelchairs as a victim narrative.

That said, I doubt anything could happen now if Phil admitted he lied about Champions. He may be leery to do so, but it won't be relevant until the second bankruptcy we all know is on the horizon.

The problem is that it proves us too right. Not only that we can find and track the skeletons in his closet effectively, therefore undermining the narrative that we're insane liars who can't be trusted, but it proves every terrible thing we've said about Phil. It shows he is an actual criminal, regardless if he was caught, and it shows that he has systematically been lying to and scamming his audience. For years. This isn't the escort saga or some paltry patreon scam... fundraisers were held to pay for this addiction. For years.

Even if OiC bankrolls him through to retirement after that, it won't matter. It'll be The Incident x10 in terms of memes. Phil's little soap box, his moral high road built out of sand... all of it will be gone. He cannot afford that. But he can afford to pay Scopely to try to cover his tracks, and poorly lie on stream. So that's what he'll do.

Phil being angry over us lengthening things is definitely a tell, an unintended admission that he had to outmaneuver the information in some way in order to get away with something. He wasn't supposed to have to do that, in his mind. I doubt he even knows that he only got through that bankruptcy because he owns nothing of value, and appeared as an obvious loser no one wanted to deal with any further.

As for an inevitable second bankruptcy, I obviously can't bring myself to argue it's unlikelihood, but I also can't think of any logical way for it to happen. Not unless things get REALLY bad for Phil in terms of support from both his 50-bit-bitches AND the handful of reliable whalechairs, because these days Phil doesn't seem to have anything to spend frivolously on except gacha. Which it would seem he doesn't quite pour all of his tips into (though we could be mistaken because we can only look at Champions).

Has me wondering if there is something he's up to that we don't yet know about...

It looks like we have a new 5 Star Bronze sweaty man jpeg:

I wonder how long it will take for DownFromTheRafters to add this to his roster.

Oh hey that reminds me. The new WWE Champions public-facing site has a piss easy API so I've automated tracking DSP's stats. Here's some of the ones that seem to be important.

'ss' stands for Superstar, referring to individual wrestlers/variations. So we can see Phil has 20 five star wrestlers, for example.

I don't know why 'all_time_faction_token_spent', 'all_time_battles', and 'all_time_feud_battles' go up and down, but I also don't know anything about the game.

Either way maybe this can help people get a read on how much Piggy boy is spending. I'll toss it in a google doc once I get a nice body of data.

What I find interesting is that his number of wrestlers that advanced to five-stars didn't go up in that timespan. I wonder what it takes to accomplish that task...

How many 5 star wrestlers are there? They started with nine back in July. Maybe DSP has them all right now?

Is there any way to see if anyone has more than him? Or at least get a list of the available ones?

Oh, it's a classification. I thought it was like leveling up a character.

Still, I would expect his roster to go up, as the number of available ones does. It must take more than money, since we know Phil isn't suddenly restraining himself. That's a more ridiculous notion than this being a fucking troll.

I might be wrong. I only half-ass pay attention.

My impression was that only certain specific wrestlers have the ability to level up to 5 stars, but they might have changed that.

Well if being 5-stars means that they're more likely to win, it makes sense to limit them I suppose. But this is Scopely, so maybe not.

I wonder how long it’ll take to find Phil’s WWE Undefeated account. He’s almost certainly playing it.

I played a bit of it and it's fucking aids

sometimes you get stuck in matchmaking, in an infinite loop

sometimes it takes a few minutes to find a match and you have no idea if you're stuck in the infinite loop or not

when you do connect to someone, it's an actual christmas miracle if it isn't a bot

when you're matched with a real player, you're lucky if they aren't using an obama phone on obama wifi

so, it sounds like DSP's kinda game

users also seem to have a unique ID, I think this means ppl can have the same name?

there are factions but only a search function, and factions don't appear on player profiles

and I had to grind a few matches to unlock the factions stuff, currently questioning my life choices

I don't think DSP got away with it because of dozens of emails sent to the trustee, but because of her incompetence. So I'd like to give my opinion on exactly why I think Nancy is an incompetent, and point out that the "creditor" should've pushed harder, because there was a slight misunderstanding. (late opinion but I see people talking about it)

I'll go over this, because I believe she got genuinely confused based on something she said at the hearing. Remember that this is also part of her job: "The United States Trustee also reviews complaints and allegations of possible fraudulent filings and, if appropriate, notifies the U.S. Attorney for further investigation."

So, "Schedule J, Part 2" is designated for ongoing monthly expenses. Here you have things like utilities, home maintenance, entertainment, pet food, etc, and it's listed as around 5000$. But these are non-business, because those ones are already accounted for the NET income in "Schedule I".

Here on his other file, he lists his "Ordinary and necessary operating expenses" (O&NE) around 5.2K$, and these ones are indeed as a result of operating a business. These are what DSP addressed as costs related to his work: games, subscriptions, microtransactions, new equipment, Internet, etc.

These two 5K figures are independent of each other, adding to +10K (one for personal/utilities; and the other for games/game related), it's the reason that after all that money it gets him to -35.07$ according to the file.
So when the "creditor" asked DSP about "itemizing the expenses" (the first time he did) he was demanding an explanation for the business ones (that are not explained anywhere), but the trustee got confused, (Quote: "Hold on... just a sec... where are you seeing 5 thousand dollars a month on business expenses?), and went back to "Schedule J", which has nothing to do with the 5.2K, she was even dazzled at this part. I think she mixed the two 5K or something, but then he didn't correct her. You can check it in the hearing.

5K destined to streaming equipment/Internet per month doesn't make sense in his case. Nancy gave an early attempt by asking what DSP considers business expenses but she dropped it immediately rendering the questioning useless. Not once she tried to understand how microtransactions/other can get you to that digit, she even involuntarily obstructed the guy's question because she didn't pay attention.

At 36:10 and 36:43, she doesn't have a clue about what is actually being asked and redirected the topic to "Schedule J" (not the issue brought up), that's why I think Nancy wasn't sharp at all that day. He also majorly screwed up at 37:22, the answer was "No, not those, the others (Form 122A-1; Part 1 (5))".

Exactly. The dipshit fucked up. He could have even just asked for more details on what games Phil purchased "microtransactions" for, what he got for them, and so on.

Both Twitch streams I posted earlier are live on Twitch for NYE streams if anyone curious wants to see how the Bejeweled gameplay actually works when you are a massive whale.

I can even watch DSP's restreams anymore, but I'm guessing at least one autist will gift DSP subs to these channels. I would not recommend it, but, well, spergs are going to sperg.
