If the court didn't lift a finger to do 3 seconds of research to realize the fraud before it happened, they aren't going to lift a finger to do 4 seconds of research after to prove it happened. Phil could have come home from the courthouse after being granted the bankruptcy and snorted 50,000 dollars of coke live on stream in celebration and they'd never know. Phil could admit to blowing all his money on WWE Champions tomorrow and personally address the court with: "THANKS FOR THE MONEY DUMMIES!!! ACKACKACK" and nothing would happen. The court would never even find out because you know goddamn well that after the 857,902 emails containing a link to Phil masturbating every single person even tangentially related to the courthouse has an email filter for the words: "Phillip, Burnell, DSP" and "DarkSydePhil".

I guess what I am trying to say is: He still has the bankruptcy and it is business related.

This. The people involved aren't dedicated inquisitors for justice, they're a bunch of boomers who just want to punch the clock for Mr. Slate, go home, and grill. If the bankruptcy case isn't literally as obvious as "Yacht Guy", they don't care.

I still contend that DSP's bankruptcy got rubber stamped because dozens of autists kept emailing Nancy with all the "evidence" and she didn't want to deal with it anymore.

He could show up on the lawn of Nancy or maybe even the Honorable Timothy Dore at the crack of dawn buck naked in front of concert speakers and a 50 foot screen breakdancing to 'Here Comes the Money' with the phrase 'I PHILIP PAUL BURNELL, GOT AWAY WITH DEFRAUDING THE GOVERNMENT' emblazoned in 5 foot letters over footage of him dumping thousands on Champions and other assorted junk, lying on his forms and acking.
Haha okay so that very specific scenario of Phil breakdancing naked with his tiny pishadeel flopping around on the lawn of a judge MIGHT get him in trouble for bankruptcy fraud but barring that it'll never happen.

Absolutely. I'm sure a lot of the emails actually contained real evidence but I can almost guarantee that they were drowned out by videos of how Phil became "the guy". But the best part is you know it happened to the lawyer too, and there's no fucking way in hell she didn't watch it at least one time just to see. She had to sit in a room, across a desk, from a man who she has witnessed awkwardly masturbating. I bet there was a moment where she started inexplicably laughing and it was like the end of the Joker movie.

Phil:
"What's so funny?"

Rochelle's mouth:
"You wouldn't get it."

A yacht is easier to sell than a WWE champions account.
Sure, but Phil didn't actually need to sell anything at all. Just start jacking off to wrestling JPGs he already owns rather than constantly buying new ones.

For anyone who thinks Phil isn't smart enough to con people or manipulate people, always remember whatever 4d chess he did to get that bankruptcy. If he did claim his WWE Champions addiction as a business expense that's probably the smartest thing he's ever done. Still stupid mind you because it 100% shouldn't have worked and 100% should have got him fucked, but Phil lucked out as he often does. Still, never let it be said he's totally braindead, the man is a con artist and while his skills aren't top of the trade he can still muster up the brain cells to manipulate a situation to his benefit.

which was what, exactly? from what i understand he went into the meeting, didn't bring it up and prayed to god no one else brought it up. i wouldn't call that chess, i'd hardly call it fuckin' checkers. the mans a brain dead idiot, just no one has called him out on it.

Not WWE by name but he wrote down a monthly expense of $5000 and argued those with examples he barely does and one of those is microtransactions.
His plan was to lie without making it suspicious by using a way too convoluted description of his job, pulled theoretical spendings from his nostrils of what someone like him should spend the money on without actually doing it, hoping nobody checks what he really does and spent.

I'm sure they've seen the additionally required numbers while Phil pissed himself to drowning high urine levels, but without further deep diving investigations they wouldn't come to our conclusion. Oh look, $5k on this bank statement, this matches Mr Burnell's description, seems fine.
Do they hire detectives in those cases, during Covid? Has Nancy even understood the problem and not confused two different WWEs? Does she even care?

Phil did what he does best:
Lying and covering the truth.
Works best with people who don't know him.

Agreed. DSP walks into the office, talks about the "Haters," and then hundreds of A-Logs prove him right. That probably made the court more sympathetic to him.

Nancy was very, very aware with who she was dealing with prior to starting that call.

Its why she made Phil wait till last and asked for 6 months of statements, even she herself acknowledged it was a little out the ordinary.

Phil claiming his Champions spending as a business expense was NOT a brilliant move. It only worked because people weren't out to get him. The second that he ever DOES deal with someone who can fuck his life up and WANTS to, Phil will lose.

even if he gets audited by the irs, I bet his receipts will magically go missing and he'll get a slap on the wrist for bad book keeping

Yeah, and that's probably why she rubber-stamped his Chapter 7. Remember, she went looking for assets that he was hiding, and didn't find any. Normies like her are going to react to stuff like that with "Okay, this guy is a stupid asshole with arrested development. Time to get him the fuck out of the system for another wight years."

Nancy didn't want to deal with Phil once she found out that he was illogically broke and a complete pain in the ass. And never forget that although Phil got what he wanted, it's something he wanted because he's an idiot. This was not a well thought out plan, regardless of when he first thought of doing it.

@tzgnilki The IRS is full of people way more ghoulish than Phil is. Why else do you think he doesn't push the limits with them? I mean, he does, but not as much as he wants to. It's the one thing he is afraid to be Full DSP about.

The IRS glows and works outside of Pigroach luck. An IRS investigation saga would be a real edge of the seat show! Too bad they got bigger fish to fry and probably wont look at this sad fellow!

If the IRS get their hands on Phil, he would beg the IRS to just lock him up in jail. Even with pig roach luck you don't walk away from an IRS investigation unscathed if something is genuinely wrong.

Pigroach luck dictates that every IRS agent attached to his case will either suffer a deadly disease, die in a car crash, get hit in the head by a piano that fell from a rooftop and put into a coma, suddenly get fired, get sent to jail for possession of child porn, get mauled by a bear or any other weird, tragic or comedic ways you can think of someone being unable to work on his case anymore, until the IRS just forgets that they opened an investigation case on Phil.

I said it was the smartest thing DSP has ever done, not that it was a smart move. It wasn't brilliant, he's an idiot and like I said in my post: it should have fucked him. Still, it shows that he's not brain dead, and it did work which is the real difference between something being a smart move or a massive mistake (sadly in the real world outcomes matter more than methods). He can con when given the chance, he can see an opportunity and take it. Don't underestimate Phil, don't over-estimate him either, but don't underestimate him. The whole reason everyone thought he was going to get fucked was because they couldn't see him claiming his WWE Champions addiction as business related.

Not saying the guy is a valedictorian, just saying he's a scamming little scumbag who is always looking for how he can cheat through a tough situation (see also: any even moderately difficult game he's ever played).
