I don't think he has a disdain for humanity in general. Only the people that get in his way. Phil absolutely despises his fans. He is fully aware that they don't take him seriously. Fans and detractors are two sides of the same coin. I don't understand your reasoning here.

Of course, he is an addict. This started as a habit and now it is an addiction. His resentment for his paypigs is fueling this addiction. How do you explain his lack of remorse? Addicts can feel shame and remorse. I don't see that in Phil. I doubt Phil can even admit to himself that he is an addict.
Remember, he does nothing wrong.

I can easily chalk that up to Phil just lashing out at somebody who insulted him in one of the most Phil-centered ways possible. Maybe you're right, but maybe not.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter if he enjoys wasting the tips he gets, because he's going to do exactly that anyway. I think we can all agree on that. Regardless of any addiction, regardless of his contempt for his fans, Phil is terrible with money. If he wasn't collecting wrestling jpegs and possibly giggling gleefully at how he got the money, he would be making all kinds of other foolish purchases with or without the sick joy of wasting income received from wherever.

He despises his fans and people in general and goes out of his way to show it. From crushing bottles and snorting into the mic on purpose to intentionally playing what wasn't voted on in phils choice playthroughs even though he put the option to show who's boss.

Who he despises more, the general population or his fans. Theoretically who knows but his fans are exposed more to his loathing by virtue of being around him. Plus in phils mind people stop existing whenever hes not concerned with them. So in practice it'd be his fans he really hates.
 
It could just be as simple as: this is what Phil would do in front of regular people in real life if he had the balls to. Obviously it's impossible to picture him acting like such a jackass in person because we know he hides his true self in person, but what if he wasn't such a pussy? Not so hard to picture in that hypothetical, is it? I mean, even while being a pussy, he did openly express a desire for someone else to STFU while he was rambling in front of a window, which we know from his videos is a habit with him whenever he feels safe.

What if the tough guy version of Phil WOULD treat a dinner party like the chickenshit version of Phil treats his chat? Couldn't say he hates his fans especially then, I don't think. Not unless he was even worse to them.
 
While we're on the topic anyone who has watched phil for awhile knows he dislikes humanity in general because he has a pretty dark and ugly (even for phil) especially misanthropic side of him i like to call Malthusiansydephil that will occasionally surface when he is especially frustrated or annoyed.

As Malthusiansydephil he'll go on particularly disturbing rants how people are worthless, the population needs to be winnowed and the gene pool cleaned.

Its really interesting when you realize these are one of the very few beliefs that has remained constant for him throughout the years and he hasn't reneged on or retconned.

That sounds very Chimpman-like, especially considering that much like Bob himself, a fat bankrupt fuck like he is, who produces nothing of value and has no redeeming characteristics, would be prime candidate for removal to make the Superior Future.
 
That is one of my more favorite aspects of Phil. His chat is composed of ironic fans, outright trolls, and a few true believers. He is aware of this. He cannot really be vulnerable or open with them. He is effectively talking to himself. Try to imagine a stand up comedian where most of the audience is hostile.

1. He has admitted they both play mobile games. They would certainly talk about the games they play and see what the other is willing to try (Phil is Phil, he doesnt try shit)
2. They bought wireless on the flight to get married to play games. Couple of hours sitting next to your soon to be spouse is bound to catch sight of it and/or discussion
3. If she plays (which Phil has confirmed multiple times) then she would certainly spend some money on the games. Maybe not much, maybe like $50 to bypass some grind (i spent $20 on pokemon GO item and pokemon storage so i could fuck that off forever, i play all the time so well invested)
4. Unless she is a whale herself (highly unlikely due to tism, life long near poverty and unstable life) then the second she ever hears how much he has spent (unless he lies and its Phil so...) or finds out, she will explode. There is no way anyone would be ok with their spouse spending 4 figures let alone the close on 6 this guy spends.

Its at the point where he can just deflect away, but if Kat EVER found out, that would be it.

The only reason I disagree with you is because I dont think she has any say in the matter. Where is she gonna go? What can she really threaten, and more importantly follow up on? It doesn't mean you're wrong, but unfortunately, all we can do is speculate. As long as the speculation is based on patterns, or previous behavior, I believe we're on the right track. It's also why I wish Leanna had done at least one interview or video after her prison break/escape from gout manor. It would probably be information we already know (because the pig is so stupid/greedy, he has broadcast his entire life), but it would still lock certain things in place. Kind of like the Rambo and Howard Thanksgiving video.
