I hate when we have to ban shit because companies like Scopely would have fewer suckers to con if more people had an adequate upbringing (Phil is more than likely an excellent example of someone who was never taught the value of... well, ANYTHING, really), but obviously I definitely agree that their business practices are utterly unethical and shouldn't be tolerated by anyone who actually does have a conscience.

Like if I ever meet someone who calls the shots at a company like that, they're getting a hell of a dirty look from me.

I suspect that if these games were banned outright, then they'll just work out some sort of scam that isn't illegal. And then the law starts being so broad it applies to situations where there isn't a problem.

I don't like this stuff, but I dislike unexpected results more.

It always astounds me how bad Phil is at lying for a compulsive liar. It is so instinctive that he doesn't think about the fact that pretending to not know the name of the game after a year of people talking about it is a blatant red flag. He doesn't think that listing all of the gatcha he used to play apart from the one we know he is still playing just highlights that he is still playing it.

A regular person would construct the lie in a more sensible manner, for one they would acknowledge the older videos where they talked about playing WWE Champions and say something like "it was one of the mobile games I used to play", that way you are telling a half truth and it makes it easier to lie. A regular person would not call it "that WWE mobile game people say I play", they would always say WWE Champions, because even if you are pretending you don't play the game it makes no sense that you wouldn't remember the name or at least look it up out of curiosity.

But what is the point in comparing him to functioning people, the lazy cunt couldn't even be bothered to have NotDSP tell anyone what the DSP in his name means.

The problem is that experience isn't something Phil actually learns from, he just develops things as a habit and thinks even less about them than anything he does deliberately that isn't a regular thing for him.

For Champions specifically, as much sense as it does not make, something else getting in the way of him coming up with good lies is that Phil appears genuinely surprised at every piece of evidence that has been found showing him to be a huge gacha fiend, including the account bearing his name. I can't think of any explanation for that other than an astonishing degree of stupidity. I don't care that he may not have planned to whale out so much, when you have a target on your back already, which in 2016 he certainly did, you don't pick a name like that. Period. Not unless you're a fucking moron. I'm not infamous and I'm still cautious about the handles I choose. And I'm no Rhodes scholar, either.

40000 is a clear understatement by now. Does someone have an updated tally? Has to be easily over 50000. No?
Assume he is spending at least $1,750 per month on this game.
Take the formula $40K + $1,750 × (# of months since January 2020) = Current likely minimum WWE Champions spending.
So currently at least ($40K + $1,750 × 11) = $59,250; and that doesn't include anything he spent prior to approximately March 2018 on the game which could easily be like $7K to $10K. His average spending might even be more than this now as he has no credit payments and still negative account balances.
Regarding your sidenote asking for an updated spending estimate, I made this post at the end of January when Phil's account reached max VIP level and that provided a timeline that I got an average estimate for his monthly spending on the game from. It has been about 9 months since then so ($38,976+$1,771.64×9 months=) at least $54,920.76. And that number doesn't include anything he spent on the game before March 2018. $55K to $60+K is about right.
According to that chart it takes $19,355 just to get from VIP level 12 to 13 by itself. Getting from VIP level 11 to 12 is what costs $10K, getting from VIP level 8 to 12 costs $19,621. It takes a total of $38,976 of in game purchases to go from VIP level 8 to 13.

In this video from March 30, 2018 it seems the new VIP features were very recently released and this guy talks about 'some previous purchases being applied to your new VIP level', so this would be around when the new VIP level cap was released. This guy is VIP level 7 in this video.

So now we have a nice timeline. It has been about 22 months since the new VIP level cap was released. This would average out to Phil spending $1,771.64 per month on WWE Champions from April 2018 through today, or $442.91 per week, or $63.27 per day, if you believe this is Phil as I do. If he was spending in splurges when he was flush with cash or an event was happening as seems to be the case the routine money dumps into the game would be lower with various spikes of splurge spending.

ETA: Maybe Kathy is actually helping out with bills and the extra money she's giving him is going schtraight towards half-naked hairy pixel-men. This would explain why her 2nd income isn't helping them at all, and Phil says he's only been making minimum payments on his credit card debt and loans and getting threats to send him into collections.

So what was the point of thegunshow84? Phil was born in 81 or 82, but I know he likes the number 86 for whatever reason. What the fuck was he thinking with thegunshow? His physique is so hideously grotesque, I cant imagine him even thinking it would be remotely funny to call himself that. Was it because he used to workout when he was younger, and he was incredibly buff?!? Is it because gun shows are a way for criminals to get around pesky gun laws (still cant believe that was his response lol)? What was going through his ugly face/head when he came up with that name?

Thegunshow84 and DownFromTheRafters are probably AI generated names, and Scopely just gave one to Phil.

I usually only play mobile games while on the toilet. It's fitting because they are all so shitty. Today I was looking for a new one to try and saw 'Star Trek Fleet Command'. I thought: "Hey I kind of like Star Trek, I'll give it a shot", but then I saw Scopely's name on it and noped the fuck out as hard as a person can, and it's all because of this thread.

So I just want to say thank you, Phil, since I know you read this thread. Thanks for wasting all of your money on a shit game and doing a goddamn terrible job hiding the fact that it is you, so that the turbo autists here could analyze your spending and reveal not only how big of an absolute retard you are, but also what a bunch of scummy assholes Scopely are. Seriously, not only do I not want anything to do with a game that it is possible to spend 50k+ on, I also want nothing to do with a company that blatantly bends the rules for "nigga rich" cocksuckers like you.

Thanks bud!

I don't care that he may not have planned to whale out so much, when you have a target on your back already, which in 2016 he certainly did, you don't pick a name like that. Period. Not unless you're a fucking moron.
Well he is a fucking moron but I doubt he signed up to the game planning to whale out to the point he completely humiliated himself, wrecked his life even further, and went bankrupt.

He denies it because he is ashamed of his addiction. Just like he says he quit drinking and only goes to the liquor store to see if they sell bottled water. He's addicted to one of the gayest most retarded games out there. And he knows it too. In his mobile game review video he told us how stupid the game is.

Well, there's the theory that Phil denies it because he used WWE Champions microtransactions as business expenses, in order to qualify for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. If that did happen, he committed bankruptcy fraud, and so he'd obviously try as hard as possible to not make people talk about it.

I have to admit that Phil's insistence on not admitting the account is his kinda makes me think that that theory may hold some water. He's losing long time fans like MoraMoria and still acts like a kid going "lalalalala" while covering his ears.

But we'll probably never know, and I doubt Phil will ever properly address this. He clearly just wants people to forget this.

I was thinking about something and I realized that the only reason why DSP wouldn't admit it's him is because the amount of money that has been proven to have been spent on the account. Do you assume that if we didn't have a viable way to track said amount, he'd still be denying it?
I think the biggest reason he doesn't want to admit it is he doesn't want the detractors to be right. Many of his whales are well aware he feigns financial distress and still support him anyway, usually saying things like it's Phil's money so he doesn't have to justify what he spends it on, or just outright saying they don't care. Technically, we haven't been able to prove how much he's spent, we're just estimating and I don't know how we'd ever get a concrete solid number to present as proof. He still denies it because we're the ones saying it.

I do also think there's a shame element. Phil wants to be a true and honest gamer, and he dunks on people who play casual/shitty games. It's one of the reasons he was so anti Mincraft for the longest time, though that also had to do with him being a contrarian and not like something because it is popular. Still, the "casual" element played a role in it as well, but now he's managed to rebrand casual into chill, so it's acceptable.

Thegunshow84 and DownFromTheRafters are probably AI generated names, and Scopely just gave one to Phil.
DownFromTheRafters is too many letters allowed by the game so no way it was automatically generated.

Phil is such a whale that Scopely not only changed his name twice, they also allowed a username two characters more than the game allows.

I've noticed something, checking the post that @architect made, DSP had at least 3 Discord accounts around April 2020:
dspgaming@hotmail.com darksydephil@hotmail.com burnellpp@yahoo.com
In addition to dspgaming@hotmail.com and darksydephil@hotmail.com, Phil has another Discord account registered to burnellpp@yahoo.com. It's the e-mail he uses for his Activision ID. Phil sure loves Discord.

There is also a Paypal account registered to this e-mail.

I've tried entering those in Discord, but it tells me that burnellpp@yahoo.com does not currently have an account, while the other 2 do:
Dec-2020-A.png
Dec-2020-B.png
Dec-2020-C.png

So going by architect's post, DSP deleted one. Now the question is, was it the WWE game's one or some other? It's not definitive, but this could explain TheyCallMeDSP#4058 getting deleted some months back.

His behaviour and actions are not doing him any favours.

There isn't any one reason why he doesn't admit defeat here, it's ALL the reasons you can think of. Admitting bankruptcy fraud, admitting to being a scammer, admitting to being a fucking imbecile, admitting that his detractors are right, admitting that the kinds of games he prefers are based on luck instead of skill, admitting to the real reason his wedding (among many other things) was a pathetic affair, admitting that he's worse with money than he has ever previously been willing to cop to, the list just goes on, and he knows it.

But the WHY isn't nearly as interesting to me as the FACT that he refuses to do so, because in any other situation where denial isn't plausible anymore, Phil just finds some way to make it not count as a loss or a moment where was a bad or stupid person. Got his ass beat offline in Street Fighter? He was tired, doesn't count. Telling the hospital story? They were broken up, so it was okay. Masturbated in front of retarded children? Weren't very many viewers, so you're a mentally-deranged asshole for bringing it up.

He could do the same here, theoretically, yet he isn't willing to try it. That is rather curious, as it denotes a decidedly higher degree of awareness of what kind of shit person he really is than he would have us believe, as well as call into question just how "unkillable" he really views himself as. I mean if he really thinks that none of his whales would abandon him, why not come out with it and wave off whatever negative aspects of his confession get brought up as "people living in the past" or some shit? If he truly doesn't recognize the ways in which he does bad things, why does he seem to be taking it into consideration, eh?

Like you say, there's no ONE reason as to why he doesn't just admit it, everyone knows its him, it's obvious, probably to even the most pignosed of that motley crew that are his 'fans'. However, I think the biggest reason that he doesn't just come out and say it's him is SHAME. You see, that's the thing about having an addiction, whatever it may be. Admitting you have a problem then means you have to deal with it, you can't just bury your head in the sand anymore. Once you've admitted you have a problem you can no longer just rationalise this shit away.

My 2pence.

I think he won't admit the account is his because that would mean he admits to flat out lying to the court and judge. Im sure thats some sort of crime and detractors would forward that confession to every person in the Washington court system.

Not confessing to bankruptcy fraud is a pretty big reason.
Well yeah, no doubt he'd get away with it though due to diminished responsibility due to his gambling addiction or some other such. I'm sure he'd wriggle his way out of it just as he does with the rest of the shenanigans he finds himself in.
