Eh, at the very least it doesn't seem like Dave writes off all of his shit for tax purposes. I'm sure he does go beyond the threshold and takes advantage of stuff, but not to the Onion point. Onion got fucked because he's a total idiot. Dave is an idiot, but he presumably had someone kinda guiding him through tax shit (see: some dude from H&R Block, not a tax accountant slash tax attorney) to say "dude, really don't try and claim that." Onion thinks he's completely infallible and can do no wrong. Dave is somewhat the same, but he likes money too much (to spend on WWE Champions) to risk it.

Even if Dave DID try and claim that same stuff, he'd likely still fly under the radar. His home isn't that expensive, his income isn't that significant, no kids, a shitty car, and more. He might get audited once a decade, but only out of random chance that his SSN got picked out of a hat. Pigroach luck.

It won't really be Phil so much as it will be the person at his nearest H&R Block that fucks up, which would be really appropriate, because if you think about it, the pigroach has never gotten through anything difficult on his own. Dark Souls? Chat tells him what to do. Bankruptcy? His lawyer tells him what to do. Taxes? His accountant tells him what to do.

Phil may be fortunate enough to have such people willing to help him for money, and he may be fortunate enough to have said money to pay them thanks to a pack of idiots, but his life is completely at the mercy of both. What a success story, eh?

He has consistently followed at least one opsec tactic, which can be seen in the screenname ‘TheGunShow84’. He also used to have a smurf account on XBox called Aquaboy92 or something like that, so using birth years that are not his own seems to be his one concession to the intelligence of his gangstalkers.

Question: In all the times that Phil had addressed the Champions theory, has he ever claimed either that someone is pretending to be him, or is being mistaken for being him? Because near as I can tell, he has not said any such thing, just asserted that he has not spent a ridiculous amount of money on a mobile game.

Why be afraid of asserting that a troll is at work? His paypigs are dumb enough to believe it, after all. Going with the Innocent Bystander story wouldn't be terribly advisable since he has never shown them any empathy, but when does he ever?

Even for Phil, it's strange to see him refuse to get that specific in his attempts to look innocent. Personally, I think it's because when he knows he's guilty, his brain has a hard time coming up with anything clever to cover it up. The only time he ever seems to easily lie is when he legit doesn't remember contradicting himself previously. Being a gacha fiend isn't something he's about to forget, he indulges his addiction every day.

NotDSP originally claimed in the champions discords that he wasn't the famous streamer, he just so happened to share his name.

I know, but has Phil claimed that some guy is being mistaken for being him? Because I haven't seen him do that, or claim that someone is pretending to be him. He just makes the blanket statement of us Kiwi Farmers making shit up.

Well he has said trolls are harassing "some guy" who they believe is him. That's about it. It was during his 10 minute rant on the subject several weeks ago where he lost his shit on it. I'm sure you can find it on YouTube.

Im starting to think he genuinely enjoys having a hate following with how he keeps making the same mistakes outing himself in dumb ways like that even though he reads this thread.

I'm just saying if he can make it through other stuff getting hand held I kind of have a hard time believing he is actually too stupid to figure out after reading the thread to just change his name again and stop bringing up mobile games in his stream or personal history in WWE faction chats if all he seriously wants is to go full junkie on it and whale in peace until he eventually draws the attention of the IRS with his "buisness expenses" and gets in serious shit.
