Food for thought: the discord denial isnt because he cares what we think. He knows we know he's a loser.

But in his head his discord guild thinks he's cool. The less they know the better, as long as they know he's moneybags and always winning events Phil believes they will consider him 'cool' and 'respected'.

Phil doesn't want his guild connecting the dots to his laughingstock twitch shit, not the other way around.

Agreed, I've always thought this.

I think it's partly why Phil is nothing but pahsitive chill streaming now, he's desperately trying to avoid the reality of his miserable life.

WWE Champions is a great escape for Phil. He can be Chad Moneybags and respected by his guild for paying to win. He can grind winning all his matches in 1 or 2 repetitive moves and feel dominant since he's bought his way to being overpowered. That's what he wants gaming to be.

The guy leading our country right now. The parallels are insane. There are surface similarities but more than a few differences. Off the top of my head.

DSP is lazy, thats one of his primary characteristics. I don't see how you can call Trump lazy. Even if you think he's entirely self interested and golfs a lot he does more shit in a month even before being president than most people do in their lives.

DSP is cowardly and hides in his khando. Trump doesn't, or at least nowhere near as much.

DSP is victimized by casinos, Trump runs them.

DSP flipflops from second to second and has no coherent ideology. Trump at least since the Presidency has maintained a somewhat consistent worldview.

Unlike his rivals who largely have spent their entire lives in safe government jobs Trump has spent most of his life in the private sector. True he's gotten a headstart, like most of his rivals. And he's failed multiple times. But he's always gotten back up and better than ever. Even most people with private sector success simply succeed once and then safely ride it out. Now you might say DSP has gotten back up several times too but actually DSP has no job and begs for a living.

Its largely agreed that both DSP and Trump's IRL personality are considerably different from their media personality. DSP is largely considered weird and standoffish. Trump while considered by some to be a harsh taskmaster in professional settings is largely agreed to be affable in personal settings. (I don't know him personally to confirm, this is just whats available online so take it as you will)

The side opposing Trump is arguably far crazier and more dangerous. I'd call it about even between tractors and dsppaypigs.

Anyways, not sure if this belongs in the general thread (probably), but Wings just said it's almost impossible to win chargebacks. However, Wings is somewhat lazier than DSP, but in different ways. If you threaten Pig's money, I don't doubt for a second that the Pig will start working, be it from the seat on the toilet during one of his 20 minute shit breaks.

Given that Phil said paypal is run by idiot Pajeets and that chargebacks rarely go his way, I'd say the chargeback saga is indeed upon him. Get ready for those Massive Tips! I wonder how many times the Bankruptcy Vest has been put on with the actual tips being far below $100?
 
Wings has always said that about chargebacks. And he's honest judging by my and a few other trolls that have chargebacked. The only way I think they can win is if it's someone who's done a long list of chargebacks.

I was mildly surprised that Phil's actual income is around $100k because that's a small amount of chargebacks, like less than 15%.

Wings seems to have the worst of it with these chargebacks. He also exaggerates heavily on any kind of numeral figure. That's just something he does. So if he says he had 300 dollars in charge backs, i don't doubt his chargebacks are bad. I just doubt it was 300 dollars worth.

Phil has consistently been checking his phone after larger tips, and a few times before going to get the vest if a significant tip pushed it just over the limit. There have also been a lot of random/new names that have done larger tips lately. For a while he was trusting the tips even from unfamiliar names, I guess assuming they are paypigs trying to dodge doxing (Hi Jeff), but now larger tips from unfamiliar names mostly get the phone check.

I think there is a good chance he has had a couple of hefty chargebacks these last few days. I'm not encouraging anyone to actually do this, especially because I think it's a gamble, but the vest does create a good opportunity for them. Once the goal is hit, which is all anyone is focused on because of the vest, money typically slows right down. So, if they can drop a big tip and get the money back, Phil might actually end up with lower than average tips for that stream. This may have been less common before because things were slow and boring, but between the bankruptcy hearing, Champions, and the vest, some of his more.... hands-on trolls may have come out of the woodwork. Phil can't be trusted with what he says about this, only his actions. He probably wants to shriek and be the victim, but if he admits that he is getting nailed with chargebacks, it's going to get worse as people realize it works.

Also worth noting: On the stream this evening, Phil got a cheer asking him to look at the camera and say that he has not spent thousands on WWE Champions. The guy spammed cheers for quite a while. He ignored it, and for most called the guy a troll and banned him, then rinse and repeat as the guy came back with new names. I know he's going with the 'it's a detractor meme, it's nonsense' angle, but it's a little odd that he won't just make a flat denial if it's untrue. He just repeatedly denied having a kid, so clearly something is different here. From what I saw, the mods were also MIA or not banning these comments, so Phil kept having to do it manually.
