The government can't tell an alcoholic they can't buy liquor or force a smoker to stop going three packs a day while having lung cancer.

They can't do that but they can fine a casino company £13 million for not adequatley vetting customers and seeing if they are responsibly gambling. Gacha at Phil's level is gambling in all but name, the reason that it's not regulated is that you technically always get "something" whereas there's a chance you walk away from a casino with nothing. But mentally getting anything other than the ultra rare pull is the same as losing.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong but idiots like Phil going bankrupt because they can't control themselves are going to be the reason MTX/Loot box/whatever implementation gets regulated sooner or later.

Dave could do what another poster suggested and start streaming this game to make some money, he will get possibly some new whales but the problem is he is incredibly toxic. He gets baited so easily that it will reroute the streams and a lot of the new wrestle speds will leave. The problem is he is so paranoid of people cash backing and essentially not accepting the gratuity. He is by far one of the worst people to cheer/tip because he has 0 respect.
He would never do it for one major reason: It would expose he's not as poor as he claims he is. DSP knows his fans contribute more because they think he's struggling financially (though that they buy this after almost a decade of claiming it is...). He goes so far out of his way to avoid the truth, which is that while yes, he's terrible with money, he still has plenty of spending cash and is living a pampered life.

The only times he exposes that pampered life are by accident because he thinks some of the parts of his life are just standard, things like the going out to eat all the time which he has no problem exposing.

According to that chart it takes $19,355 just to get from VIP level 12 to 13 by itself. Getting from VIP level 11 to 12 is what costs $10K, getting from VIP level 8 to 12 costs $19,621. It takes a total of $38,976 of in game purchases to go from VIP level 8 to 13.

In this video from March 30, 2018 it seems the new VIP features were very recently released and this guy talks about 'some previous purchases being applied to your new VIP level', so this would be around when the new VIP level cap was released. This guy is VIP level 7 in this video.

So now we have a nice timeline. It has been about 22 months since the new VIP level cap was released. This would average out to Phil spending $1,771.64 per month on WWE Champions from April 2018 through today, or $442.91 per week, or $63.27 per day, if you believe this is Phil as I do. If he was spending in splurges when he was flush with cash or an event was happening as seems to be the case the routine money dumps into the game would be lower with various spikes of splurge spending.

ETA: Maybe Kathy is actually helping out with bills and the extra money she's giving him is going schtraight towards half-naked hairy pixel-men. This would explain why her 2nd income isn't helping them at all, and Phil says he's only been making minimum payments on his credit card debt and loans and getting threats to send him into collections.

I'll admit even when I made this post and that's where the raw numbers led I was still very dubious that Phil was actually spending an average of $1,750+ every month on this fucking game, I just couldn't wrap my head around Phil spending as much as his Wakando's mortgage every month on Bejeweled + dancing wrassler jpegs, until I saw him spend $3K on that recent event. Just what the fuck Phil?

Just what the fuck Phil?

It's the only way to win in the game, and it doesn't take any effort. Also his guild let's him feel like big boy Vince McMahon managing his roster and feel superior for people spending less than a grand per month. It's all just numbers to him anyway.

Was his WWE Supercard account named "DSPGaming"? If so then there is a greater than 0 chance that due to "troll activities" this name was taken when Champions was released. And since he is so unoriginal he just went with his twitter handle.

He used "DarksydePhil" as his account name in WWE SuperCard.

In gambling circles (in the UK at least) Phil would be classed 'vulnerable' and continuing to allow him to gamble while undergoing a bankruptcy would be in direct breach of a company's responsible gambling policy which could lead to massive fines or losing a gaming license altogether.

In gacha circles he's classed as a prestigious whale and allowed to continue to pump thousands upon thousands a month, unchecked, into a chance at a fancy new JPEG.

If he wasn't such a begging, manipulative, exceptional, deceitful, lying, toxic-manbaby fuckup I could feel sorry for him. Mobile game MTX stuff is incredibly predatory and you can't even win anything tangible. If I had to write a DSP redemption arc after his bankruptcy he'd come clean about how addicted he was and become an advocate for the regulation of some of this stuff. He would be in his element pity-splaining how his 11 year pioneer lets-play legacy was left ruined at the hands of someone else and definitely not his own fault.

I don't care about regulating gacha for the same reason I don't care about twitch thots and I don't care about 'abused' women who keep going right on back again and again and shacking up with abusive men.

Some people just want to be victims. Some people just want to waste their money and get taken advantage of. Close the casino down and some gamblers are just going to pour their money into private betting. Close down findom thots and some pathetic single men are just going to redirect that money to twitch strippers. Take away the power of their daddy and some women will just find another daddy or vote themselves a daddy government to continue to dominate them. Take away phil's gacha and he's still find another way to waste money.

Some gamblers want to gamble, some paypigs want to paypig, some daddy's girls want a daddy, some whalers want to whale. And if they really really want to they should have the freedom to do so..within certain reasonable parameters of course...like not lying to bankruptcy trustees.

I guess you can 'save' some of them but the rest are ultimately where they want to be.

Not like we need a fucking quorum or anything but I'm onboard now, too. None of the alternative explanations make any sense. A guy who doesn't know who DSP is, who calls himself TheyCallMeDSP, playing a game that DSP refuses to mention, spending the amount of money needed to whale as much as they have, while Phil spends approximately that much money on nothing anyone can see or corroborate...

The clincher would have been if in the initial reveals, the Discord user number wasn't made public, then @tzgnilki could have sat on it until the number from the mod Discord was revealed, making it highly unlikely that a fake could be manufactured with the same number, but that ship has sailed.
Yeah, and here's the thing too: if this was any other person, we'd probably need the most perfect, airtight proof to make a convincing case due to all the variables and stuff. But since this is the United States of Phil, what's currently on the table is more than enough really.
Man, I've seen people convinced of rape and murder on less evidence than some of you are asking for before you are convinced that this is DSP.

This isn't a criminal trial. Hell, in a civil trial the burden of proof is only 51% preponderance of evidence.

This is only to see if DSP is blowing all his money on a gatcha game.

Also, as I've said, screw the Kimberly Brink saga. DSP absolutely was using Kat as an escort during that time. Just because some other dumbass autists decided to blackmail a guy that doesn't feel shame for his actions doesn't suddenly mean that I need some Deep Throat smoking gun of guilt here.

We are just some autists on a forum, not a jury in a criminal case.

Innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable gout.

Don't worry, even if they give up on him, you'll still have 'tards wanting to mod for him

Edit: Also, I don't remember this being posted here, but:

Mentioning both taxes and pigs

Coincidence?
It was destiny that brought us here, and its fate that'll see this through.

Its already sort of being implemented by the ESRB. You are now required to put the tagline "Random Items" in that funky little white box if you have lootboxes or any kind of randomly generated content. Thats how bad its gotten.

MTX, as far as I'm aware, is still unclassified, since there are no hangups about what it is youre paying for.

i wonder what theycallmedsp would say if he knew that another guy named like him is going through bankruptcy cause he cant stop spending money on nonsense

im still laughing that he tried to play it off like he wasnt phil. 40 year old dude lying on the internet about not being him when the evidence is fucking staggering. like dude is such a pathological liar that he thinks he can even lie about that. fucking bold move cotton god dam.

hey this dude has your name and talks like you. "that aint me, dood" still fucking laughing about it

Paypig rustler is still higher social standing than paypig.

Doesn't he hand out modships to people for being huge paypigs?

He usually doesn't quite lie about shit like this, instead calling it "nonsense" or "detractor memes." Then when he can no longer squirm his way out of admitting it he can claim he never actually denied it.

The government can't tell an alcoholic they can't buy liquor or force a smoker to stop going three packs a day while having lung cancer.

No, but when you go begging to the government to bail you out and cancel your obligations to pay your debts, they can certainly tell you on what terms you can do that.

Imagine referencing the actions of the UK government in an adult discussion about personal freedoms and the consequences thereof.

If this shit is legal then actual real gambling for adults should be legal too. It's irritating to have classic, real games like poker, one of the most American things imaginable, outlawed while this bullshit for mentally defective manbabies like DSP remains completely legal despite being even worse.

there was quite an obvious transition from flat out denial pre-mod discord leak, to now calling it nonsense and a detractor meme

he went from lying, to covering up his lies with semantics

who fucking does this

a politician except no fortune 500s are sponsoring him

He has a sovereign citizen’s view of lying. As long as he doesn’t string the exact words together “that is not me on the WWE champions game” then he isn’t technically lying, and all the shit he’s lying *about* (massive gambling addiction, five hundred thousand in debt, filing a bankruptcy in bad faith) is out of bounds and immaterial.

You guys give DSP too much credit when it comes to lying and manipulation. He's not this crime mastermind that knows how to keep plausible deniability available.

He has already said that the only mobile game he had recently played was some other game. That in itself is already a clear lie if this is really him in WWE champions. Plausible deniability is no more.

The point, to me at least, is not that Phil is a great liar. It's more that he's a shameless person. He doesn't care if he gets caught lying. Concepts like honor and honesty are foreign to him.

That and the fact that paypigs couldn't care less about his lies. They just want to "own the trolls".

So maybe some more technologically advanced Kiwis can answer this question, Is there any way to identify the name "TheyCallMeDSP" he uses on WWE through the Apple Game Center? I was searching, trying to see if I could add DSP as a friend through his email tied to his Apple ID. I found that two of the emails he uses from the list:

Edit: Two of these emails are tied to an iCloud account and we all know Phil has an iphone
