It's my understanding he can't get credit until he builds up his credit score with "secured" cards (not really credit). He was trying to do an end run and get a home equity loan or line of credit and got slapped down recently. He is known to be buying things on Amazon using their payment system like his Bravia tv. Kat could be maxing out cards in her name for Bankruptcy Arc II: The Piggening.

I may well be wrong here, but I think he can set up credit accounts, the issue is, that the banks that would approve him are the kinds of banks that will include absolutely insane interest rates if you end up overdrawn

How would one achieve such a high debt anyway? Just mobile games?
 
Buying a condo he can't afford while not selling the other. Reminder: he had to go to 3 different banks before even getting the mortgage for the Snort Fort. Plus being too retarded to cancel all those spam business postings he recieved which according to Phil gave the IRs a lead on his "business" on which he has to pay alot of back taxes
 
Also moving from one side of the country to the other but beforehand buying (overpriced) furniture on the East Coast and paying to ship it all across the country instead of just buying the things directly on the West Coast.

He also blamed his tax guy in CT for not looking into WA state tax laws.

According to Phil when he moved into the snort Fort he recieved tons of mail in regards to business. He said his maiolbox was full within 2 days for weeks. And then the IRs allegedly found a company called DSPGaming and said company recieved business related mail. so they concluded that Phil owes business stay and occupation tax because he owns a business. I would have to find said video as it sounds really stupid

youtube tells the IRS: "hey, don't tax me on those $50k for this quarter, because those were sent to XXX-XXXX bank account of DSPgaming with real name P.P. Burnell"
imagine machinima and paypal reporting payments towards P.P. Burnell for years.
It is possible to summon IRS as an individual, sometimes saying "I don't have money to do it" x3 in front of the mirror, but the guy already had invoices printed with his name on for over $100k.
The easy way and the beg-proof way to blame things, is obviously to blame the trolls. I doubt newsletters for business made the IRS to check on him.

Phil -> Doesn't create or file a business entity with the state he is operating in.
Retired Professor who Phil pays a onetime fee to prepare his personal income tax return -> Doesn't file taxes for a business entity that doesn’t exist and he has been given no paperwork regarding.
Phil -> "My Tax Guy fucked me and prepared my taxes wrong for years dood!!!!"

And this after 3 years of Phil yelling at his audience "It's NAHT a business you MORONS!!!". . .except back in Connecticut where he had his business registered with the state and paid the fees and taxes associated with running a business there.

I find it funny he openly admits to needing to go three banks for a loan but thinks his bank will just give him whatever money he wants after filing for bankruptcy a few years earlier. If his intelligence went down any lower Kat would have to water him three times a day while leaving him outside during the day for some sunlight and fresh air.
