From a simple observation, that is 2,600 more power in the character. Is that a big deal in this game? Doesn't seem like much.
He's going to have to break out his new begging shirt.Holy shit he must be expecting a nice payday tomorrow lol
Credit and debt, mostly. Sure, there's maybe 1 or 2 millionaires that play, but 99.99% of the whales are just in tons of debt.I think of pro wrestling as being popular with white trash types (like Phil), so mostly poor people. So how do these people afford the lavish spending whaling in this game requires? There are always many higher spenders than Phil in events.
I don’t think the whales are playing to be “competitive” anyway, they’re playing to win and that’s where the real money is made.
It’s good to have the small fish feel like it’s competitive like you said but that’s all smoke and mirrors for the real money makers.
Phil has an over 99% winrate, he’s never challenged and that’s the way he wants it. I imagine when he spends $1000s in a day, it’s when he loses a match and his ego cannot handle it and he buys more and more. I bet he was broken the day his discord/line was discovered and he couldn’t flex on the poorer whales in his faction anymore.

I wonder if part of the appeal for Phil is that he's literally the richest and most successful man in the group when he's whaling Champions. Also some of the dox of phil's clanmates show they are mostly if not exclusively working or tenuous middle class.
Most "whales" (in any game) are not saudi sheiks or corporate titans, they're addicts who make small-to-average yearly salaries.I think of pro wrestling as being popular with white trash types (like Phil), so mostly poor people. That's because it's a 14.99 plus tax = 16.51do find it weird that we only ever saw those 16.51 and 109.98 iTunes transactions during the bank leaks
I'd see that as one of his main motivators. Think about it - it's the only place in the world where he is respected. His win rate is over 98%. He gets to have big achievements that are recognized by his peers and take zero effort. Instant gratification. He has actual knowledge that is valued in the community (or at least so he thinks).I wonder if part of the appeal for Phil is that he's literally the richest and most successful man in the group when he's whaling Champions.
He's also put himself in a position where he can't even brag about this meaningless shit and is so determined to protect himself that he's more than willing to let everyone that takes him in be doxxed just to keep playing without the ability to flex. And it's sad as fuck. He wanted all of this from YouTube, in real life - the clout, the legacy, the support, the success. Instead, he ruined everything he had going for himself and has to resort to even ruining his life some more so he can escape to a reality where he gets to live out his success story.
What a fucking loser
100% after all he was described by a former guild asI wonder if part of the appeal for Phil is that he's literally the richest and most successful man in the group when he's whaling Champions.

Whales like Phil aren't even respected in these mobile game guilds, they're just utilized. There's a sense of shame among everyone in these guilds, knowing they shouldn't be doing this. They see guys like Phil at the top of that list. See the open wallet post above this. That's because it's a 14.99 plus tax = 16.51
