So, how long was Phil logged in for yesterday? There's no way he broke his streak on account of it being Christmas, he didn't even do that when he supposedly had to drive Katherine to work. Won't ask how much he spent, I already know it's going to be all the money he had available.

The website is on a delay, so it won't be known for a couple of days, but I'm betting @BT9494 will have some insight.

His website's log in streak is not that telling if it keeps incrementing, it's what's expected and it just means that the system recognized the log in, or recognized it for x amount of time, or alongside a set of actions.

There are daily free rewards in Champions for each month, the longer you consecutively claim them the better they are, if you lose 1 day it means you won't get the last reward because the month will end and reset this chain before you have the chance to get it.
This encourages players to log daily even if just for a minute, which keeps the streak alive.

You can also get reward 1 at the beginning of day 1, then reward 2 nearing the end of day 2, and that opens more than 24 hours but less than 48 for him to do this and the system keeping it as "consecutive".

Take this with a grain of salt because I have not tested how it exactly works, but if it's like that it means that he'll always have plenty of time to log and get Scopely's pity recompense, whether if he does it while Kat drives, he goes to the restroom, or when in bed before going to sleep and checking his main info source, Twitter.

If it's broken it won't be because he thought that he had more important things to do, it will be if that alcohol starts to kick in and he forgets.

I just assumed he played every day because he's an idiot and has managed to waste so much of his money on a regular for so many years. Not to mention his harping on tips, which are clearly for gacha, being a daily thing.

But I can still completely believe that he would log in just to make sure he can get a tiny reward every month. He's THE sucker for that kind of thing.

he gets so giddy whenever he talks about his mobuhl games too. he hates all the actually good console games he plays on stream but is elated at the mere mention of this unplayable trash.

what a retard.

With his taste in so many things being just the worst possible (movies aside, which can be attributed to him growing up in the 90's more than anything), I can only assume that his taste in games is merely an extension of that. Though these days, he obviously refuses to admit his playing for a very different reason than just being made fun of. We're not in the same era we were when he admitted playing but refused to give a figure on his spending, he has way more to worry about than he did back then, because even so many years ago gacha didn't account for nearly as much of the income that just vanished into thin air with no explanation. Not just because he wasn't whaling as much, but because he had more money and had more things he was visibly wasting it on, like collectibles and a BMW he wasn't going to drive enough.

Just one of the many ways in which he's terrible even at being a terrible person.

it's the sensation of dunking on others and feeling superior that strokes his ego, even if given by something as shallow as a pay to win game.
Also bragging about his hulksters to other whales.

If the tard actually leaned into his addiction and did it on stream, he'd had fully tax deductible expenditure for this bullshit and maybe even actual cahntent for people who like this shit, so more adsense money.

It sounds completely unwatchable, though. The only novel thing is how much money is being wasted. Maybe if he kept a running total?

I noticed Phil doesn't like talking about WWE on stream. At first I thought maybe Phil just didn't want to stream his addiction. Even he knows that would be bad for him.

But now I think wrestle-wrestle is a thing he only wants to talk about with friends, and his chat is not his friends by his own insistence. So all he has are these dentheads who might not even enjoy the wrassle the same way Phil and his lovers used to. There's no joy in discussing it with likes of Derrich.

It would be no more unwatchable than any given stream of his these days. In fact, it would be better, if anythng, because we've seen how lit up he gets when he's gambling, and that's clearly how he got addicted to this garbage. I know he does legit enjoy it, but it's the same thing with blackjack, as we've seen: it gets him because he's stupid enough to like it so much that he glosses over the gargantuan downside of being bled dry by it.

Lots of folks have their thing that they set logic aside for. I'm an Alien fanboy, and definitely part of the problem. If/when they make any more, the only thing that will keep me away is if the trailer is so god awful that it looks like Phil did it. Other than that, I'm going, and I know it already. But how much money so does that suck out of me? Way less than anything else in my life, because my love doesn't have me buying everything related to the franchise. I don't even have my old action figures anymore, from when I was a teenager.

Point is, I'm not dumb enough to waste everything I have just because I love what the thing is. No matter how much you enjoy something, it taking ALL of your money away is NEVER worth it. Phil has nothing to retire on, and never will, because of his waste, that he refuses to stop. Not even truly believes that that's okay, because we know how much he hates his job. He wants to walk away, and his love of gacha has deprived of him of that option, but instead of admitting that, he holds onto it and insists on demanding that life somehow smile upon him in a way that he won't immediately fuck up. Good luck with that shit.

He can't talk about any of it because he knows he will slip up.

I always thought it was because he was afraid of getting mocked for enjoying wrestling. Adult wrestling fans were/probably still are seen as a punchline, and even if they're not being mocked, it goes against his mature adult narrative. Don't get me wrong, Champions is absolutely part of it too, but I recall him pretending not to like wrestling happening before we ever found his account. At the time, the popular theory was him masking the fact that he paid for WWE network, since this was around the time he liked to insist he gave up all his nonessential spending.

True, despite this topic I forgot there is technically a case of bankruptcy fraud hanging over his head if he did slip.
It's debatable if Phil has ever considered that, but we can say for sure that he has another reason for not wanting to admit it, despite everybody already knowing: it would crush his ego worse than Leanna did. Phil's whole house of cards is built upon the basic principle of "the detractors are always the ones lying", and the second he confesses that we weren't lying about Champions, it all comes down, because so much is connected to it. If Champions is real, then that means he lies about bills, what his income is, how busy he actually is during the day, how much more he could actually be doing for the stream to earn all those tips, not to mention so many other implications, like what else the detractor community gotten right that wasn't connected. Just on the fact that Phil lied about something so huge and so damning to him, it suggests that we Farmers have a lot more truth about a lot more things than that.

Just think of the questions that opens up, that he doesn't want to answer for ego reasons, like whether Kat still lives in Chateau de Gin, or whether he actually did try to fit his green screen in his pigsty of a streaming room. Once a lie of that magnitude has been admitted to by the liar themselves, there's nothing stopping the flood of accusations to naturally follow, and Phil knows this. He also knows that anyone aware of the Champions meme is just drooling at the thought of being able to hammer him with it harder than ever before if he confesses, because with that comes being able to cement it as every bit his legacy as The Incident is.

We know how Phil is about the time he chose to jerk it in the one room in the Snort Fort that had a webcam in it. Just imagine him dealing with the fallout of saying, however not in so many words, that the entire detractor community has been telling the truth for YEARS, and that he is the big fat liar with a deranged mind.

As much as I agree, there are people on YouTube (and Twitch I presume) that stream this crap and have an audience.

And it doesn't seem like his few true and honest fans, the strange LARPers in his chat care what games he is playing, and most of the whales probably doesn't either.

So it's really only his ego and the implication of him lying (and the detractors having been right all along) that is stopping him.

And even though he is a greedy and money hungry fucker, above all else Dave is mostly motivated by his ego.

Earlier in the thread, someone was talking about a Champions streamer who is fairly successful and gets paid to actively do pulls. It's probably a fairly niche audience, since Champions isn't even that popular of a gacha, but there's definitely an audience for it. Plus, like you/others said, Phil is already in niche audience territory with his paypigs. With a few exceptions, nobody tunes in for a specific game. In the Discord leaks, we also saw Phil being fairly passionate about the game mechanics, few as they were, he'd actually be energized and have something to talk about during the streams because it's one of the few things that genuinely interests him. Even if he didn't do it full time, he could probably do something akin to his streetfighter throwback streams with it.

WWE CHAMPIONS WEDNESDAY! Guersan Gaming is the biggest WWE Champions streamer, and he doesn't pull in a lot of people. IF Phil ever streamed it, he'd be the biggest WWE Champions streamer on the internet.
