chest burns with fever its happening fellers
Well, if this is happening to you, vitamins are not a bad thing. C, D, zinc, etc.
Also, to anyone with the means to make a long term investment for their health, getting a juicer isn't a bad thing, and getting a lot of vitamins from raw vegetable juice that many of us are lacking certainly can be beneficial if you don't overdo it and drink a pitcher all at once or something dumb like that (which can start a long diuretic period), but otherwise, it's great and beets, carrots, turmeric, etc can seriously remove periods of fatigue, give much needed stamina for exercise, and make you feel generally physically/mentally better.
Personal health things that I use(I've tried almost everything, most specialized supplements don't do anything/much and are either for something herbally specific or just snake oil)::
-green tea 'matcha' powder; can be expensive, don't get ceremonial kind(unnecessarily expensive/luxury), get the one that is a step lower but high grade and NOT made in China(this applied before the outbreak as well fyi) but in Japan. High
antioxidant content. Don't do a lot of it unless you want to piss for hours and get weak muscles from losing vitamins in your urine. '
Ujido' brand is what I use.
-Bragg apple cider vinegar (with 'the mother'). Hard to drink, even diluted but suck it up. It's good for you, probably good for gut bacteria as well. Anecdotal example here: I have primed myself with a few or so 'shots' of it before separately and along with glasses of water before I go running; usually a notable difference in stamina and ease of breath (similar to beets which I will get to).
-Two main juices that I make(with Tribest masticating juicer, although cheaper centrifugal juicers will do as well-just don't buy the super cheap shit-100 to 150 usd is probably minimum for a decent one but get what you can):
carrot/turmeric and green apple- very good, very anti-inflammatory.
Beet/cucumber/celery/pineapple/ginger/lemon- also anti-inflammatory (actually in a different and better way than the first drink), and you notice the effects almost immediately. Wait 30 mins to an hour and you'll probably shit and then feel even better for some reason(perhaps because you're not processing anything at that point but the juice, not sure though). Typically I feel like I can exercise a lot more and breathe easier. Note-blood is thinned due to the beets so don't chug a big jug of it because of lightheadedness and probably a lot of carb intake as well. So, in short, I can go from feeling crappy to great/normal, and from normal to great, and if I was sick personally, I would guarantee that it would help me with at least some aspects of being sick(when I juice I usually notice that both nostrils are usually clear as well). Organic produce seems to be preferred so you don't concentrate as many bad things you don't want, but get what you can.
-Meditation; forget the naval-gazing stereotype b.s. and look for body scan meditations like John Kabbat-Zinn's, or Thannisaro Bhikku's guided meditations. This is good for any time once you learn how to focus and breathe while identifying what you're experiencing with each part of your body, releasing the tension, and moving to the next part. Even if there were respiratory issues going on, some focus and intention with the breath would at least put you in control of some things and ease the discomfort if you only allow it. We are in control of much of our body if we only realize it.
