Dan explaining that 87% of those currently in hospital with Covid and 96% in ICU were not 'fully vaccinated".

Confirmation from the ministry website
Victoria was notified of 1,510 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. All cases were local.

For some unknown reason the Victorian and Australian governments do not give the raw data on hospital admissions by age. I can't think why? So we'll have to rely on CDC data and infer from percentages and mortality data that are published.
First of all lets look at vaccination rates by age in Victoria
This data file contains statistical data about Australia's COVID-19 vaccinations.
www.health.gov.au
There are 2.2 million people over the age of 50 in the state of which 1.886 million have been fully vaccinated and 2.13 million have received at least one dose.
Fully vaxxed- 85.3%
At least one dose- 96.3%
In total there are exactly 82,406 unvaxxed over 50's in the entire state, with 324,741 having received one dose
Now let's look at hospital admissions by age
gis.cdc.gov
According to current CDC data 70.4% of all hospital admission in the US are in the over 50's with 42% being in the over 65' demo.
Well maybe the vaccines are so good in Australia that old people aren't getting sick and ending up in hospital?
So no. As with previous outbreaks the vast majority of serious illness is occurring in the very old.
There are 743,000 over 70's in Victoria of which 98.3% are vaccinated.
There are 12,596 unvaxxed over 70's left in the entire state.
So from this pool of 12500 people we would expect to see approx 40% of all hospital admissions, well at least according to Dan.
There are 817 people in hospital with Covid, so 326 unvaxxed geezers are currently clogging up our wards with their nasty unvaccinated bodies. 2.6% of the entire unvaxxed elderly don't just have Covid they're in hospital with it as we speak.
Assuming a 20% hospitalisation rate in this age group, that would mean 1630 of the non vaxxed currently are suffering from Covid-19. Wow that's a lot, 13% of this entire population have the coof!
So how likely is it that 13% of an entire geographically scattered population would be suffering from Covid-19 all at the same time? Shit let's be super generous and assume a 40% hospitalisation rate, how likely is that 7% of the population would come down with it? Well it's the Delta, and we know that it's literally the measles crossed with AIDS, but even so at the height of an uncontrolled Covid outbreak, which Victoria isn't suffering, we would expect to see 600 cases per 100,000 population per week, which in this case would mean 75 cases total and perhaps 30 hospital admissions. Given the current case numbers we can safely divide that by 5. 15 cases and 6 hospital admissions.
The problem that the Branch Covidian movement faces is that they're running out of unvaxxed old people to justify their lies. As we get to our 90% plus of all over 12's who've been jabbed expect the messaging to change.
Instead of the 'pandemic of the unvaccinated' it will be ' those who didn't get their booster and third doses on time are ending up in ICU' or 'Delta is now attacking unvaccinated small children and they're ending up in Covid wards'. We already see this propaganda in highly vaccinated nations like Ireland and the UK.
