It looks like Maui County is also following Oahu's example, and implementing their own form of vaccine passport too. I do wonder if Kauai and Big Island will follow, oh wait, of course they will, given how blue of a state the Islands are.
The State of Hawai'i is also talking about implementing a digital version of vaccine passports as well. Any takers on how long it will take for someone to break this system, either by faking vaccine IDs, or mass leaking of personal information?

Said person was also expressing disapproval over the public reaction and protests going on in Ausland. This is the same government that accidentally sent a ""not a test"" missile alert due to shitty design and the governor forgot how to reset his Twitter password, so I won't be surprised if it was rather quick. You still have to login through their "Safe Travels" system to get to the QR code itself, too, and they discourage taking a phone screenshot of said code in favor of printing it out (totally not going to be frequently misplaced like the card itself) or always logging into the system every single time
(totally not going to backfire once someone decides to connect to unsecure wifi...also who the hell wants to take the time to do that, and who the hell is going to take the time to check that it's not a screenshot anyway?) This also happened a few months ago when they launched the site for the bus pass smart card.
Also it's voluntary (for now), so you can still provide a photo on phone.

Trump won the highest percent of the black vote since Richard Nixon back in 1960, before LBJ discovered the way to keep the nigras voting Democrat for 200 years. Now that doesn't mean blacks will all become good conservatives or Republicans or whatever, but it does mean that voting block is slipping. The real threat isn't blacks switching their vote, it's blacks deciding "shit's fucked either way yo" and not showing up to the polls. Enough vaccine passports and or telling blacks that their bandanas don't count as a mask means they won't bother voting. As fun as the conspiracy theories regarding the vaccines creating a aromatase deficient goblin subrace the next generation or other hilariously evil side effects are, they are quite unrealistic. Such an effect would be way too noticable and spark negative reactions on such a large scale that heads would roll, literally. TPTB wouldn't BE much longer. Way too risky.
No, if there is a nefarious plot going on it's going to be much more mundane. The vaccine is mostly harmless, and the whole thing is mainly a testbed for what can be done to people for now, and establish a precedent. Further along the line the pandemic will be ended, but minor outbreaks and variants will be there to keep people on their toes. The main dish will be widened government controls and higher federal control where applicable. I'd expect, for example, much more EU parliament influence in the future to the point where the national governments are pratically useless. The next big thing will be climate change, and it'll be perfect to enact wider infrastructural changes.
Dystopian visions of depopulation and mutants and shit are bollocks. Such a rule by force is unsustainable and won't work. No, if anything they want everyone to be serfs willingly. They want you to want them, and they want you to smile at the prospect of living in a pod and eating bugs. How do you get people to that point? Make them scared, and boil the water slowly. The propaganda machine for that would have to be running for quite a few years before it becomes acceptable. Don't expect things to come rapidly, but you will own nothing, and you will have never been happier.

Hard disagree, there's something nefarious in these vaccines. They've been pushing much too hard for much too long for these to simply be placebo's or precedent setting measures. They know they can't keep the charade up for much longer, peoples patience is beginning to wear thin in america at least. They've sown massive distrust in the medical system into a large part of the American populace ensuring they'll never willingly go get a vaccine again, thus ruining any future plans they would have concocted. Why the fuck would they want 7 billion plus serf's? People have blathered on at nauseum about how this pandemic revealed how many jobs are actually important, understand that a lot of "important" jobs only exist because of the population in that area. The world only needs so many electricians, and as long as there's a proportional amount to the populace it really doesn't matter if there's 1 or 1 million.
I probably sound like a schizo, but I honestly don't care at this point. If you don't think these vaccines are the pure manifestation of metaphysical evil you're a hell of a lot more optimistic than myself.
