Someone who knows more about the law than I do will have to tell you whether that really could have been intended to keep her from getting sued, or if it will actually have that effect.

There are still at least four ongoing lawsuits against her and her policies in federal courts (to my knowledge. I haven't seen any news articles on their progress since their initial filings). The most recent one was filed by a U.S. Representative, so it probably has the best chance of success. Also our state legislature claims they'll file their own lawsuit next week.

Maybe it's because I'm an introvert, but who the fuck wants to escape just to be around more people? I live in a big city, so my idea of "escaping" would be fleeing to the middle of nowhere where I don't hear the noises from loud cars, police sirens, ghetto stereos, and dogs barking.

Several of us have Safe Zones set up around Culpepper. Were it not for the political uncertainty, I would have moved a long time ago.
