"You're gonna kill vulnerable people if you don't obey orders!" seems to have shut most people up. Never mind that a few tens of thousand excess deaths and more people getting sick produces a lot less human misery than confining literally over a billion people to their homes and torching the economy even worse than it already would be.

But you'll get your freedom back soon enough. This is all dry runs and tests for the elite for even more of how this would work. I don't think they could have predicted how successful they'd be, how quickly governments everywhere moved after they tipped over a few dominos, and how willingly people go along with this (they shut down the Yellow Vests after 71 weekends with this!) So far. Let's see how people react after another month of this and no end in sight.

Also lmao to how all these lockdowns ban you from going to a bar but let you go to the fucking airport, get on a plane, and go to any other airport (probably also in a locked down city). That's the Clown World Pandemic for you.

I don't know, what is more important, your freedom or your life? I guess it depends on the point of view. Would you not mind being one of the tens of thousands excess deaths to save the economy? Or are you saying all this crap because you are in the age-range between 0 and 39 with no underlying health conditions and a mortality rate of only 0,2%?

Edit: Btw, you are as fucked as you can get, even without total lock down, because the rest of the world is also fucked. You think your economy is gonna survive when the rest of the world crashes? That's wishful thinking. We're all going down.

Then enjoy your pod and buglent. I'm glad some people are keeping an eye out for the bullshit that can come from this if we're not vigilant.

And healthy-ish, younger people are tired of sacrificing for the boomers to them to get fucked during the 2008 great recession and essentially created the clown world we have here today. We're also tired of sacrificing for grotesque fatties and adult baby millennials who didn't or won't take care of themselves.

Tbh, seeing how exceptional certain groups have acted, I'm fine with a mass cull at this point. On the bright side, it will take a lot of strain off of pensions, social and medical systems in the future.
Good luck fighting your glorious libertarian revolution. Unsure how successful your aim will be what with your galloping myopia but by all means, pick up that gun. I'm sure everyone is right behind you.

>Acting superior while treating human lives with wholesale discount after getting buttmad about socio-economic slights.

Tell me more about how you're supposed to be the "tough, righteous one." I love the grandiose delusions of heroism verging on homicidal schizophrenia of the mentally weak.

I can't wait for all these governors to do non stop mental masturbation about how great they were for using executive powers and how they saved countless lives with their actions.

Wisconsin follows suit.

Beat me to it, just got off the phone with an organic farm that I volunteer some time at and they are shutting down to the public and opening an online based door step delivery service.

Ask yourself this question, when will it end? They are going to curtail more and more of our mobility rights all in the name of containing this quarantine and has people willing to rat you out for being an offender for not following the slow culling of the right to live as a human, all in the name of solidarity.

"That’s why issuing a #SaferAtHome order isn’t something I thought we’d have to do, and it’s not something I take lightly. But here’s the bottom line: folks need to start taking this seriously."

If he's not in first place for elitist twits, then Evers is still one of the most pretentious asshole imaginable.

I love how he talks down to the "simple flyover folk" every time he opens his yap.

It will end when a vaccine is in production. Believe it or not the biochemistry behind treating virulent, contagious diseases is actually a difficult thing to nail down correctly and requires some time. Further, getting it wrong will be even worse. In the meantime, while we try to un-fuck the situation on an epidimielogical basis, the last thing we need is for a bunch of mimbling little mongoloids to start threatening to shoot their neighbors over being asked to stay home and stop being viral hosts. You want to get mad at the state? Good, I totally understand that, but whipping yourself up into revolutionary fervor and discounting the fact that chimping out fucking Kills people does not make you some kind of heroic protagonist. It makes you a whining little cunt at best and a dangerous schizo that gets other people killed at worst.

He’s a fucking teacher that’s why. The teacher unions wanted him as governor and Scott Walker was not on team Trump until recently allowed him to win the election.

AP exams got butchered into a 45-minute online format that only covers up to March. No way colleges are going to accept those for credit. High school seniors are especially fucked, and I'm not sure if universities nationwide (especially top ones) will even have enough Calculus I classes this fall considering the entirety of entering STEM students will actually need to take it.

Are they at least charging less for them? That's insane.

UK: I work in a multi-service local government building. We finally closed the public library this evening. :stress:
Of course, I've been watching hoardes of elderly people coming in as usual. The staff spread out the public computers but the customers moved them back together and sat and sneezed and coughed all over each other. The library staff have been freaking out and don't want to be there but the council insists everyone stays and works their contracted hours even if there's nothing for the customer facing staff to do with no customers.

Hopefully, CCs will see the goldmine opportunity in massive online offerings for Single var Calculus. In theory the kids will need less tutoring because they've already seen the shit. Still, sucks to be a Zoomer.
