Iron Pineapple says it's pretty good. From watching a bit of his video on it, it kind of seems like it's got an Elden Ring style of handling to it while rocking Nioh/Nioh 2 style of specialized moves.

It's ok. It definitely a little janky, with some pretty weird design choices, and not as polished or high quality as something like Lies of P or the From games themselves. Maybe wait for some patches first if you're interested.

Dont see how can ya compare two different genres...heck Concord was cheaper compared to the monkey game, when you think about it and wasnt Wukong also an optimized mess. But, as a multiplayer shooter it didnt offer much nor would any alattractive characters save it.

I've almost played for 2 hours and beat the first real boss (which is like 3 bosses in.) This puts me in the top 55% of players so far on Steam. My performance has been good; not like Monster Hunter Wilds where I have to close every other app on my PC to run halfway decent. I haven't noticed any stutters or anything.

It's still too early to call it but I don't feel like I've wasted my money (yet.) The introduction does feel a little weird compared to most soulslikes but the music/atmosphere/combat have all kept me engaged. The comparison to Nioh is apt due to the way leveling unlocks the ability to get different weapon skills and buffs. Interestingly getting more healing and stronger healing items is also tied into the leveling system (although you also need the items to enhance them.)

I'm going to have to play more to see how much of a soulslike it really is but people were calling Stellar Blade a soulslike which is just a wrong opinion. So far the extras seem like it could break away from it and be more of an action game sort of like Nioh.
