If it somehow came from people with no health issues or what have you who voluntarily asked to be killed just to partake in this experiment, would you try it? I personally would, really curious what it would taste like or whether I'd naturally be repulsed by it.
 
Only if it is Ray Liotta's brain or a Cenus taker's liver.

Avoid organ meat, just partake of muscle.
Better yet, just have a salad.
 
I have dibs on all the deathfats. Sure, there isn't much muscle, but I can make candles from what isn't proper meat. I can only assume that there's no electrical power system intact during this apocolypse.
 
In a time where starvation was imminent, yes.I'd kill and eat my companions before malnutrition set in, and feast like a bear. Waiting until they have expired from starvation is a losers' game, as you expend more nutrients digesting than you absorb. Kill and eat them early when they're still fat. You might need that stored blubber later, in meagre times.
 
If it was a life or death situation than yes I would eat my dead companion to survive another day just the same as I would drink swamp water if I was dying of thirst. As a meal at home or a restaurant? Fucking no. Sure I've been a little curious what people taste like, do we really taste like pork like the taste testing robots and cannibals say and how the texture of our meat is compared to other animals. But to go out and kill a person or willingly cook human flesh into a dish to eat at my dinner table like a chicken breast? That's beyond disturbing and I could never see myself doing it.
