A great many of your hardcore pro-lifers are also anti-birth control and sex ed. And we've all seen how well the "abstinence only" thing works. (Bristol Palin, anyone?)
Mike Pence is probably more of a threat to the abortion and birth control rights than Trump. His views are creepy.

:offtopic:I've seen this sort of thing before. They'll ignore it and then insist that the homosexuality they read out of it is 1000% the correct way. Would even be canon if they could get their hands on it (which might happen anyways with J.K.).

Actually a lot of the stuff she's posted on Pottermore disputes their theories. (For example: Harry and James aren't Indian, and Remus Lupin and Sirius Black were never lovers, etc)

I'm still laughing my ass off at the fact that they had to drop the pink pussy hats in fear of them potentially being transphobic. They've completely and utterly played themselves.
Who wants to bet that they won't even be allowed to use pink or any other "gender conforming colours" in a few years' time?

Nevermind that pink *used* to be a color for boys because it's the dilute of a strong, manly color - red - and light blue for girls...

Probably because that was the big set of books when all of these "woke" people were kids.

Makes me wonder, actually, why these same people don't try to make more LOTR refs since those films were out around the same time.
They probably hate LOTR because it's way too eurocentric, and they would probably call Tolkein a racist. And it doesn't fit their message because harry potter is all about "Everyone hates you because you're special, your so much better than them so come to this place where there are people just like you". And it's also middle school reading material so it's a little higher than their own demographic, and is deep enough to make them think it's a philosophical juggernaut.

And LOTR is based off of traditional catholic values which pretty much triggers them. "Evil cannot create, it can only corrupt" indeed.
