If they go really, really over the board with psychopathy and gore I can see this game being fun.
OTOH, and yes I am a cynical asshole, there is this sneaking suspicion in the back of my mind we're gonna get a whole lotta woke soundbites, as a perverse form of bait and switch.
Regardless, I haven't paid for an aaa title in years, so:)

If their obnoxiousness was intentional, then Machine Games have succeeded with flying colors. Indeed, the twins are so obnoxious, that just watching the reveal trailer made me and who knows how many others not want to bother ever getting the game.

I'm sure that won't have any sort of impact on sales, because who cares about money when you get praise from "woke" critics?

Was skeptical about this one since the price tag was only $30. Replaying the first right now and it's really enjoyable. Reminds me of the good Medal of Honor games for the PS1 and Frontline. Played a bit of the second but something felt off about it. Have to give it another chance in the future. Might pick this up one day when it dips under $10 but it isn't a priority.
 
I don't know what you guys are talking about, I hated women and loved genocide before this game taught me another way, it really saved me from myself.
 
Just found out they killed Hitler off screen. According to the wiki BJ assassinated him between New Colossus and Youngblood. Guess they thought making him a decrepit and disgusting old man was good enough for players.

That's just...lame. What a letdown. This reboot series was begging to have a revamped Mecha Hitler fight but I guess that would have been too exciting.

That's rather anti climatic, but at least BJ got the honor of killing him instead of his psycho daughters.

Any word on the game's sale performance so far? I kinda have a feeling that this one's a bit of a hard sale.

Imagine if at the end of Doom Eternal they wheel out Mega Hyper Icon of Sin Deluxe but he's a pathetic tiny larva creature that pees everywhere and nothing else happens. Then in Doom 6: Daughters of Doom they say Slayer killed him offscreen.

Making your antagonist a pathetic disgusting manchild rather than an actual intimidating figure just to appease a niche group of people who won't even buy your game is ridiculous. There's no reason to believe Hitler wouldn't be immortalized as a 40k-esque colossus in a world where a man can literally be saved from beheading. I think it frames the SJW shit pretty well, they don't want to earn victory from worthy opponents, they want other people to kill their defenseless opponents for them.

Would have been a perfect opportunity to bring in Mecha Hitler, too. Fuck.

Why? Why the fuck would you do that? Why not a fucking battle with Mecha Hitler like in the original? Why not having the final battle with him on Washington or NY? I fucking love how the twin cunts actually close more paths that they open. That's why they're called the Terror Twins, because they destroy any good chance of something badass happening like fucking terrorists. Quality planning guys

Funny thing is I can see potential in Young blood. I like level systems and upgrades and hub worlds, but even that seems to be fucked up and lazy.

Who asked for a procgen quasi RPG Wolf.
 
I didn't hate the game as much as most of you and I actually kinda liked the interaction between the sisters but I'm really hoping the next game goes back to BJ in the 60s because this whole fucking thing has been leading up to a robot Hitler fight and if I don't get to see that I'll be pissed :(
