And another good artist bullied off the platform. BTW the artist is name on twitter is artgoblin (Please check her portfolio out!) and they're an AMAZING artist. I feel so bad for this artist in particular because they are infinitely more talent than all of these sjws who wanna speak for brown people...This incident is when I had enough of this absolute faggot.

Keep in mind that every social media site with a free sign-up might have pedo shit on it. That doesn't mean the site owners like it on there.

For those who don't know about Archive of Our Own (AO3), its the greatest fanfic site that's been up since 2009. It has a MASSIVE userbase with LITERAL THOUSANDS OF STORIES, independent and fanworks alike, and guess what? It's been ad-free the entire time. This site is one of the last places where a big site is ad-free and can operate freely. Deleting it will get rid of a lot of talented, independent writer's work.

But no, donate to Jay's shitty Ko-Fi so she can sit on her fat ass and complain on twitter more.

Only thing this tells me is that Twitter for “artists” was a mistake. Most of these people are not even “artists”; they’re trying too hard to be e-celebs.
 
I've been browsing Twitter a lot more lately and that's how I've been finding some interesting pieces to post on the SJW Art Extremes board.

Twitter absolutely sucks as a platform for artists because of certain shitheads making it easier to dogpile popular artists they dislike. A lot of them tend to target Japanese artists due to the language barrier and the fact they're more likely to apologize. There was an infamous post warning Japanese users to block certain individuals based on their profiles.

I'm currently not at my computer right now but I can get more examples for you.
 
I didn't know the "woke" got so uppity about changing a shade by just 10%.

I don't get it, how is the Jimi Hendrix drawing racist at all? I want to know why twitards were criticizing the drawing because the same woke art crowd will criticize media for not having enough characters with black features. I'd understand calling it racist if it was Jim crow style huge red lips but the original artist didn't draw it in an offensive caricature at all. What was the artist supposed to do, give Jimi Hendrix thin lips?

This section specifically is 10/10 :story: the They/them こいつ is extra funny to me, just because in japanese it can translate to kinda like "this thing" or "this guy" (in the way you would be like "ugh, this guy" when annoyed with someone lmao). Obviously that isn't the intended translation here, but sill it's funny af to me lol.

Art twitter is a cesspit, I would say it was one of the many factors that contributed to my personal disillusion with making art lately. Just looking at artists I like feed into political bullshit 24/7 is just :c Wanting to make art for yourself and sharing it online when you're proud of it, only to be met with an audience of people that will nitpick the shit out of shit that has nothing to do with how good the artwork is, will kill the motivation of many young artists for sure. Social media is imperative in getting into the art job market these days, without a presence your only way in will be through IRL connections. Pretty depressing for those looking for a way into the career tbh, the work is out there but with how incredibly woke focussed it's all become in recent years if you don't conform you have no chance. And to add insult to injury, the other popular career move for artists is teaching, and we all know how fucked that's become too :stress:
 
I shedded most of my old art follows last year when the BLM, ACAB and so on got super infectious and killed off half of the artists I used to follow. They went from decent art posts to 90% sperging about issues/retweeting similar things, and 10% ruined art. I started following mostly Japanese/Korean artists instead, and its been much nicer to look at overall. I've been trying to get back into personal art and sharing it online, but I do think its easy to feel disillusioned at getting only so many likes/retweets over some awful drawing that has breast scars/pride flags slapped on/any of the current popular phrases, which gets thousands. But sometimes the Japanese artists give a like or even follow, and I remember there is still some hope out there for art, just sadly it looks like majority of the west has crumbled in those areas.

Dear lord, I thought he faded into obscurity after Nuclear Throne. Thank god there's no other triangle-eye characters I can think of besides those two.
