Incoming walls of text, there’s some proship community infighting.View attachment 2735314View attachment 2735315View attachment 2735316View attachment 2735317View attachment 2735318
I already mentioned how left-wing fujoshi and right-wing lolicons would eventually clash because of politics. If you’re not new to fandoms you could have seen it a mile away.
This is why I don't like both Pros and Antis.
Antis are annoying, screechy, self-righteous harpies while Pros are hijacked by actual pro-incest and paedos that they lost their original vision.

A couple of things about this one:

1. Most of the accounts mentioned on there barely even talk about shipping in general let alone pro-shipping, some of them are just shitposters, there doesn't seem to be any consistency, it feels more like an attempt to just attack people they don't like.

2. Adding on from the last point, the account has 0 followers and was created in the same month as the post which likely means it is a burner account for someone else or they weren't confident enough in their claims to begin with to put it on their main account.
This is the result of proshippers assuming everyone who doesn’t rage over problematic fiction is part of their “community” and turning it into a political movement. 6D1F4989-B8E9-4859-8A6E-5F2CE777D058.jpeg
They think they’re living in the book 1984 because a middle schooler said kaeluc is weird on tiktok. Basically anyone who doesn’t support them is racist, queerphobic, misogynistic, ableist etc. so their brains short-circuit when they realize their “supporters” aren’t the ultra-inclusive liberals they promote them as.

Essentially a case of both sides acting like retards and not getting the message, it would've been easy for them to just shrug the tweet off or say "This is dumb" but instead they have to go on a rant about how oppressed they feel.

I get the whole censorship plight but it feels really disingenuous when it comes from someone who's more than just a bit angry they can't ship siblings together.

Robaato is being a little bitch again. Must be a day ending with y.
Antsstyle on twitter called him out again on twitter recently.
Robaato selectively showed screenshots on their Instagram, while I posted the entire Discord log for public viewing. Maybe he needs to re-learn the meaning of "selective".
"non-credible sources": @Robaato_Art is one. (I didn't lie; he pushed for a friends and family PayPal payment, and the only dispute option you can use for those payments is 'Unauthorized activity'. The dispute text made clear that wasn't the issue.) Of course, he knows that.
This one includes a video. Him waving to the camera looks gay as fuck, and fake as fuck.
"just way too many freeloaders on sm who sit on the sidelines and dont support" - @Robaato_Art He is the freeloader. Got his success from sm, then stole >$12k off his Indiegogo + Cryamore backers and more. Also he 'dabbled in NFTs', what a surprise.

Complaining that the people who got you successful are 'freeloaders' is just pathetic. Also, taking peoples' money for 8 years for Cryamore, delivering nothing, then not even refunding everyone who asked for it is some next level asshole behaviour.

Interestingly enough, I’ve seen this a lot in younger circles when it comes to being in the art world. If anything, if it were up to me, I’d just pull a Homer Simpson in this case:

they are friends and suck each other off a lot
I really don’t see why he would suck off a leech when meat is doing good on his own, also you might as well airquote “friends” since when did they talk before the collab?

I really like Meat Canyon - I hope for his sake he watches what he says around Daft. I know people like Daft and he will stick a knife in Meat's back to make a quick buck and/or cover his ass in a heart beat.

TinaFate1 is back.

He’s not going to be able to live this down for a long time.
Simps in the reply section and Twitter police in the quote retweets, yeah that seems about right.
I really don’t understand these moralfags and why they don’t bother with worse offenders. Some of them are just there to advertise their shitty art.
The QTR from these dipshits are the same “ratio” garbage as usual, I would say I hope the new CEO of twitter would remove or restrict QTR but knowing it’s toxic community, it’s beyond saving.

Honestly, the biggest downfall of proshipping was that it turned into a political movement that got tied into all your other beliefs that may or may not even be related to fandom specifically.

Even though I get where some of the political commentary comes from, such as pro-shippers mostly being minorities or other marginalized people, how antis often barf up terf and radfem rhetoric despite them having "Radfems/terfs DNI" plastered all over their carrds and bios, etc. And how antis are just in general a menace to fandoms given some of them have no problems sending actual gore or CSEM to people, how creepy it is to post a picture of a real child next to an anime character and be like "these two things are the same" or even call adult women that are petite and have "childlike bodies" pedo-bait and call for them to be deplatformed and think it is completely normal to stalk and harass people over fictional characters when in reality most normal people dgaf and certainly wouldn't go as far as posting or sending actual CSEM to people or posting it on their twitter censored like they would loli or shotacon. As well as how the sanitization of the internet (I.e the tumblr purge) tends to take all kinds of content that isn't just "problematic stuff" with it and that places like AO3 are a necessity for fandoms to continue thriving in their fullest.

if I ever had to choose between the two, I would just side with proshippers because I really do not have enough care in the world to stalk or let alone harass someone. But honestly I am less "proshipper" and more "just be a grown up and block/mute people whose content you don't want to see instead of spending time making useless callouts because of some genshin impact shipping."

Is it me or have both terms "anti" and "proship" have lost their meanings?

"Proship" used to mean ship what you want and not harass others for it. It was never originally a synonym for being into lolisho, incest and etc.

And wasn't "anti" originally a term that originated from the kpop fandom. It used to mean antishipper right? Then anti became a thing. So another term for hater right? It used to mean ppl who take shipping and fandom too far to the point where they harass other for it. Not just any person who opposed lolisho, incest and other stuff.

Anyways this whole proship vs anti war is dumb. Nobody irl cares about this stuff actually. I miss the gold old days where it didn't exist. Nowadays everyone on Twitter has "proship" or "antis" DNI in their bios and carrds. What happened to those days when neither of those terms existed.

they've lost their meanings but not in the way you think they have. Lolisho and incest ships were included in proship but it never meant that you had to ship those things, it just meant if someone did just doesn't harass them. Over time, it did somewhat include overall anti-censorhsip in fandoms due to the fact that many people for some reason are trying to censor fandom content for being "problematic". It's where the branch "pro-fiction" comes from.

Now "pro-shipping" has weirdly political ties such as being liberal, anti-conservative, etc. to them.

Anti did somewhat originate in the kpop fandom in reference to hating a particular person in a group and it did mean anti-shipper. And you're right in that they're people took shipping too far and harassed other people for it. That said, if you harassed people for lolisho, incest and other problematic stuff even by old fandom standards you'd just be considered an anti or fandom jackass. In fact, in "old" fandom it was incredibly common to ship incest (usually twincest or siblings like the Hitachiin twins from Host Club) or something that bordered on lolisho (such as Toshiro and Rangiku from Bleach). The only people that gave a fuck were people who didn't like that ship in particular. You could also just like problematic shit without people being up your ass about it.

The entire war is stupid I agree. My personal theory is that with the internet being sanitized and too many children not being told how to actually interact with content that they don't like. Or even the expectation that fandoms are intended to be a space for children and the idea that if you like something in fiction you must condone or like it in real life. Fandoms used to just be "antis" and everyone else because everyone else just left everyone else alone. For some reason, on both sides shipping has been tied up with activism and IRL morality (more so on antis in my experience because they're doing the same shit, different tactic. Rather than just calling a ship stupid it's abusive, problematic, etc.) and more pro-shippers (few as they are) mention what you ship or do in fandom doesn't reflect your actual morality unless you are actually doing fucked up shit to a person. Antis just learned as long as you can appeal to emotion and have to "make things safe" for children then accusing you can accuse of being an abuse apologist because they read Killing Stalking then fewer people will oppose it because if you oppose it, it means that you are an abuse apologist not that you are a person who knows how to curate their own media.

What I meant was being into lolisho, incest and that sorta stuff only.

I heard someone say once the person who coined the "proship" term would be consider an "anti" today because they didn't include that stuff I think.

Then there's these DNI Irredeemable media lists that "antis" make which is pretty stupid. Like harmless media such as Harry Potter get added on there. I get hating some shows, but why make these stupid DNI problematic lists for them. Before ppl just hated media for being cringe and didn't care if other ppl liked them.
