That was intensely heavy speculation based on an incredibly blurry image. I have no idea if that's what it actually was, I was legitimately asking what he was wearing because I don't believe we have a clear picture of his outfit yet, but there's very obviously some sort of graphic on the back of his robe-coat thing.

Members of a congregation shot and killed a man who opened fire in a church near Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday, police said.
The man shot dead one churchgoer and left a second with life-threatening injuries at the West Freeway Church of Christ, police chief JP Bevering said on Sunday afternoon.
“Unfortunately, this country has seen so many of these that we’ve actually gotten used to it at this point,” said Jeoff Williams, a regional director with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
"And it’s tragic and it’s a terrible situation, especially during the holiday season.
“I'd like to point out that we have a couple of heroic parishioners who stopped short of just anything that you can even imagine, saved countless lives, and our hearts are going out to them and their families as well.”
Authorities have released scant details about the victims, the shooter and what led to the attack.
“He was trying to do what he needed to do to protect the rest of us,” Mike Tinius said. “It’s extremely upsetting to see anyone committing violence."
Mr Tinius said he did not know the gunman and that the shooting appeared to be random.
The church live-streamed the service on YouTube and the video showed a man in a long coat producing a rifle or a shotgun that he fired twice before someone shot back, Dallas TV station WFAA reported.
Some members of the congregation ducked behind pews while others with handguns rushed the gunman. Church members could be heard screaming and crying.
Two people with minor injuries were treated at the scene, MedStar Mobile Healthcare spokeswoman Macara Trusty said.
Governor Greg Abbott asked the state to pray for the victims, their loved ones and the community of White Settlement, about 12 kilometres west of Fort Worth.
“Places of worship are meant to be sacred and I am grateful for the church members who acted quickly to take down the shooter and help prevent further loss of life,” Mr Abbott said on Twitter.
In November 2017, Devin Patrick Kelley opened fire on the congregation at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, killing more than two dozen worshippers before taking his own life.

You know I used to be one of those people who thought it was exceptional to unnecessarily arm other people and if other people were armed it would turned into some Alamo shitshow were additional people would get hurt.
I stand corrected.
Without a doubt if other people in that church weren’t armed a lot of people would’ve died today. Very unfortunate for the first two people killed I wish there souls, families and friends the best. You win me on this issue conservatives.
Another thing is why hasn’t this made headlines all over the country? I tried searching up many headlines for this and very few major outlines even covered this. This would be great for the morale of the American public. Instead of cowering in fear, waiting for first responders, and hoping some re-tard’s stray bullet won’t hit you people chose to stand up and say no more. If we had a bunch of headlines like that I bet these mass shootings would decrease instantly.

NYPD's intelligence\counter-terrorism section is bigger than many countries' spy agencies.
I heard a former spook give a lecture about the relative merits of intelligence services and he held up the DEA and NYPD as the two US entities that do the most work overseas that he was impressed with aside from CIA. He might have just been taking a shot at the FBI but it's kind of scary how a city police department has such long reach.

Maybe the frequency of attacks has something to do with the perpetrator's ideology and its declining relevance? This seems to be the "endgame" of failed movements. If your state allows it, I'd obtain the appropriate permits to open and/or conceal carry. Be the right kind of exceptional and protect yourself and what you care about.

Yeah I don't think we'll know much about the shooter until the authorities release more info -- speaking of which, why haven't they released shit yet? Are we actually being memoryholed here like WTF is so important that they have to wait nearly an entire day to release any info on the perp? We knew who Patrick Crusius and Santino Legan were after a few hours so obviously the shooter doesn't align with someone's narrative or the guy was seriously fucked (like even more fucked than your average shooter), right? How long do you guys think it usually takes for the feds to release info on this type of shit since from my experience I've usually been able to find info on perps in a few hours?
