Er. ..

I don't know if it's that good, but it does sound like they may have a problem with this.

kept private to protect their families.

This is the correct "answer" for this thread or at least for the more serious authors and artists out there. The left will often boast about how "they are more creative" and point at Hollywood, the music "top 100 Billboard" and currated books as their "evidence" to create a consensus that rightwingers are "uncreative". Look up on Youtube "conservative art" and "media literacy" to see how high on their own supply they are on this topic, it's ridiculous how delusional the left is on this (part of the manufacturing consensus meme). In reality, most rightwing stuff is often keept away from the public due to the creatives will get harassed and it affects their family, by a lot. Censoring a message is an unbelievable effective method to burry stuff, while also direct some harassers to make sure the families never speak out or try to promote their stuff.

There exist some good rightwing stuff, but it's extremely hard to get stuff out there without getting a lot of shit on the way (without maybe even getting anywhere with it in the end). Back in the days (~100 years ago) it was hard to get stuff printed due to the resources and logistics and post WW2 it because of political censorship. Given that it's easier to technically create stuff today, it's very hard due to monetary reasons and promotional issues if you do decide to do an attempt of doing a serious creative project. So a "smart" person will probably not release their projects or put it aside for safety reasons. This is why the rightwingers today is stuck with short projects (a.k.a effort posts and memes), rather than cinematic +2h movies and high production music albums etc. You can make one meme song and shitpost with it, or make a goofy manifesto and get away with it "anonymously" without feeling like you wasted time, but anything of more of effort will result in some very bad diminishing returns. You can be anonymous with one or two memes, but with a whole project it's impossible.

As someone who grew up with a some harassment due to some family member being outspoken in the past, I got some shit by the oppositions kids in school etc (yes, parents will pass their resentment down to their kids, everytime a lefty say "break generational trauma" I want to fed post), so I have gotten a taste of how it's like, by just being related to someone who "was based" growing up.

Since I also do some creative stuff, I'm very cautious of what I release, and how I do it (in case if it's too spicy meme so to speak). I do a lot of self censor shit in my public name because I know damn well that it can backfire tremendously for my (future) kids if I don't. I highly suspect that there are a lot of what seems to be lefty artists, just cucking down their actual "rightwing work" just to have a creative career in the first place. In this way you will at least get some money instead of just losing it faster than a BMJ coin flip stream.

So the TL;DR

Where's all the right-leaning creatives?

They are just not releasing their stuff into the public to avoid family harassment, or are censoring/watering it down so much it becomes a husk of its original form, a lefty piece so it can stay up for the public to "consume".

In the last couple of years, if you look at anon made ebooks, sites like HonkFM for music and at the same time looking at mainstream GAYming and Hollywood going down hard, together with the kike narrative aswell. I think we might see some based stuff getting made soon, the only thing I'm worried about is "hate speech" laws ramping up and softwares related to making creative works with starts to monitor your projects in order to report you for said "hate speech" laws.

Where are they? Making movies and shows for Dailywire, and not doing that great at it. Wasn't always this way.

Something about being right wing, at least nowadays, really shits up your entertainment skill level. John Milius could put out right wing screeds and I'd still watch the hell out of it on the regular (Luv muh OG Red Dawn). Even Abrams and Zuckerman, guys who in the day gave us Kentucky Fried Movie and Police Squad which were both works of genius, took a nose dive in quality when they decided to overtly put their new political leanings into their shit.

I don't want to hear any crap about "Oh, they're afraid! They can't get money!" Bitch, Christian networks, conservative think tanks, and the right wing side of corpos light their farts with 100 dollar bills beholden to no wokie, and every time they threw money at a conservative's vision, it ends up LadyBallers, saccharine Christian sermon films, or that snore fest adaptation of Atlas Shrugged. So a lack of backers ain't it.

Sooner or later, right wingers producers and writers have to realize that "it triggers the libs!" isn't enough of a selling point and something has to be actually clever first. That's why you dont' see much of it, because of a brain damaged mentality that pervades right wing entertainment creation.
Robert E. Howard would cause Leftists to have conniptions.
Another example of "it wasn't always like this." Howard's Cthulhu mythos work is better than Lovecraft's.

They want to make "Principled" conservative works and they want to own the libs.

Also I don't think it's really correct to conflate Neo-con with right wing. Although the ego stroking critic is more than fair.

This is the real issue here. Explicitly tying a work to a political ideology will always mean you have to serve the ideology and (even more homosexually) The Movement before any sort of aesthetic considerations even begin to enter the picture. On one hand you have queer tranny commie niggerkikes on dildo-powered unicycles instead of legs and on the other you have Ben Shapiro style milquetoast autistic kikes who have their own set of sacred cows and vapid ideas about what is and isn't acceptable. At the end of the day both flavors of mainstream faggot who are willing to foot the bill for anything want inoffensive soulless and corporately-oriented slop that doesn't challenge them or make them uncomfortable in any way.

I don't really have anything to say against this post, the slurs just made me laugh.

And every bit of it all comes down to one word; LAZINESS. Good entertainment is hard work.

I recall that the handful of times a major media production just made a decent product in the past decade, it got lauded as "owning the libs" via not focusing on propaganda.

funnily enough, a half decent adaptation of something like a Heinlein Juvenile or classic SF/F or Adventure work would probably draw in plenty of cash from these people. Just market it as "retro".

It's too hard to do something that's right-winged and done well enough.

That being said, anything prominent that's been adapted also seems to be fucky. Like I'm just thinking about the Dune movies of recent years. I hear they're alright, but a lot of it seems astroturfed into sperging about Zendaya.

Aint' saying that doesn't exist, but can you provide examples?
It's too hard to do something that's right-winged and done well enough.
Doing anything competent requires hard work, but yes, it's very much possible to do it, and they used to do it quite on the regular (again, John Milius being a glaring example).

Right wing entertainment isn't bad because it's right wing, it's bad because in 2024, it's lazy.

I feel like there's an equal number of Right-leaning artistic types, but through a combination of political pressure, general values, and projected end goals of those artistic endeavors, they don't feel as strongly about needing to advertise themselves with it.

Being primarily politically-driven is the flaw at play no matter which "wing" it's oriented towards. It's just more noticeable in things that brand themselves as right-wing because they're already ghettoized in terms of where and how they pop up by the almost exclusively left-wing oriented media/entertainment establishment in America. The more politicized something is the more preachy and joyless it will inevitably become. If there's no solid aesthetic core to a work beneath that it just becomes lame and insufferable.

"Making art? Why arn't you making babys?!?!?!?"
"I want to own the libs"
"It's Star Trek, BUT BASED!"

Yeah, that seems to check out.

Sheesh. Take this with a grain of salt because my memory of public perception of some things is very sketchy as I don't tend to focus on too much of this, but I recall hearing a Death Wish remake, the Blade Runner sequel, and Top Gun sequel were pretty well recieved with the Top Gun sequel getting used by some "youtube commentary channels" as an example of why they just need to make decent movies again.

Hell, it's funny how (in the west) military sci-fi or military capeshit seems to be getting put further and further into an attempted memory hole despite their popularity in the west.

Heinlein? Star Trek? etc. Essentially military SF. A ton of popular SF genre games? kinda falls under Mil-SF or is adjacent to it. Tons of popular and famous anime fall under this. (Gundam, Macross, Galactic Heroes).

I guess maybe they're lazy but we've got the better part of a century's worth of military SF to adapt to screen. You're telling me people wouldn't totally eat up this shit?

I agree with this point. I think what's funny is that the Left oriented stuff has kinda gotten a very generally ugly artstyle. The right has the option to just stick with good looking styles, and they should.

I think the funniest thing would be the left claiming that traditionally beautiful art styles are oppressive.
