I don't think there will be an end to transgenderism. I don't think there will be a conclusion either way, I think the phenomena will be shelved for a number of decades, people will slowly forget and move on, then someday the whole cycle will begin anew.
I know someone who worked as a Surgeon's Nurse in West Germany, she started her career doing plastic surgery on normal cases: people who had industrial accidents, women getting nose jobs and cosmetic procedures, then all of a sudden the policies of West Germany changed and she found her clinic dealing with men getting sex reassignments and facial feminisation surgeries. It got to the point where she found herself asked to assist in the castration of a minor child, that was enough for her to refuse to comply and join a Labour Union Strike.
SRSs were massively unpopular in West Germany, (like today) the decision was directed by State Mandate(like today), and like today there were whistle-blowers, leaking reports of breaches of medical ethics, and real horror stories of children being railroaded into the procedures by ideologically driven parents and doctors. Eventually the practice was banned in all but name, individuals seeking SRS could not use the National Health Service and had to be strictly vetted by Psychologists.
I think the best defence against this phenomena is to have a comprehensive documentation of *this* Transgender Experiment, so in 5-10-20-30. . years, when Governments and Ideologs believe medical science has progressed enough to make it work "this time", we have systematic breakdown for people of that time.
This is why things like Kiwifarms are so important. Because there is nothing new under the sun, just the same events played out with different people.
