Do you let it grow out long? Do you keep it short and tidy? Or do you prefer being bald?

Not frequently. I want to grow my hair until maybe a bit past shoulder length. Since I don't know anything about hair styling, I go to my stylist every once in a while to keep my hair in check.
It grows a half an inch a month and extra in the summer if that helps you save at all. Usually you can look at the ends and see it they're transparent. That's a sign of breakage.

Pretty quickly. I keep it faded on the sides and short and spiked forward on the top.

I don't like long hair, it looks gross
I cut mine like a Muhreen maybe every month or so. Makes me look like a POG poseur, but it's nice and low-maintenance.

I hate it when my hair grows out. It gets itchy and hard to keep in shape. Having to maintain it by combing, teasing, or putting product in it makes it greasy.

I'm growing mine out now its past my shoulders I wanna grow it as long as I can (to the end of my back) so I can chop it into a bob and donate it. (Ive done this twice before)

My hair is pretty thick so letting it get long turns into an upkeep nightmare, right now it actually looks a lot like my avatar ;) I trim the sides every other month or so to keep it neat, and trim the top so it doesn't start turning into either "I want to speak to the manager" or "ask me about my pronouns"

Every few months I cut an inch or two off. I do it myself now. Looks pretty even. I just have plain long hair. It's cheap to maintain and is good enough for me. I can't see myself ever going to a salon. Huge waste of money unless you are in to coloring or trendy styles.

During the day because it's a lot easier to see what I'm doing than at night.
Man, you gotta get some electric lights; those things are a game-changer.

I cut mine at night because that's when I shower, so I can hop right in and not walk around with little hair slivers working into my skin.
