While it's already established that Barb will be cremated (and it's already paid for), is it possible for CWC to get a refund before she dies? I'm sure CWC has quite a few "alternative investment ideas" for that cremation money.
That probably isn't too far from the truth. If I may power level for just a second.

I worked in the mortuary biz for a little while. One of my favourite things to do was ask some of the old timers about the craziest shit they'd seen ( and this was the type of job that was full of crazy shit stories." This one guy tells me that the county brought in an elderly gentleman's body that was badly burned. But that wasn't the worst of it. His body was caked and fused with melted rubber that had sticks, pebbles and other assorted garbage stuck to it. He asked what had happened and apparently this old codger had asked his son to have him cremated when he died. Rather than splurge on the $450 (at the time) cremation that came with the BBQ and a tin box with a vacuum sealed ash bag he decided he was going to give his dad a Viking funeral. And this consisted of putting him on a raft (a single person rubber raft from K-Mart), dousing him with gas, setting him alight and floating him on the river. Well the flames burst the raft right away and the water extinguished the flames. He drags dad and the deflated raft on to the shore and dumps the rest of the gas on him and relights. This only succeeded in burning most of the clothes and hair off and melting the rubber in to his dad's remains. He ran out of gas and when he tried to put other garbage on him to keep the fire going it just fizzled since it was so wet. The rubber had a fire retardant in it so it would just melt and not burn. It was a mess.

I haven't checked in a while but when I did it seemed like the average for a cheap cremation with a spreading urn (cheap box) was about $800. That amount of cash can but a lot of bullshit infused crystals and Lego. I not going to assume seeking a cremation refund had crossed Chris's mind but I do wonder. I just hope he doesn't end up burning down 14 BC again before the bank can take possession of it.

I think it really depends on whether a serious dose of reality like that shocks him back into something like sanity, or if he just completely loses his mind at that point.
Yeah. He’ll either be punted back to reality by some force or he’ll completely divulge in his delusions enough to be widely considered as clinically insane.

punted back to reality
Unless you mean the merge larping that already ended some time ago, getting back to "reality" is never going to happen to Chris anymore. It's, at least, 20 years late for his perpetually childlike mind to do that. Bob's death affected his already-affected mind and Barb's death will simply make it worse.

Has anyone ever considered a Chris/Gazi scenario?

When Barb dies, I predict there will be some trolls to come to his rescue, feeling sympathy and sending him things and he'll be coddled more. I think he'd make quite the stink at a group home. I don't think it's possible for him to really take control of his own life because there's so many aspects of life he is naive about.

I think he will end up becoming homeless first and then possibly turn to prostitution or end up in a metal ward
when Barbra dies the Chris we all know and love will basically die right in front of us and we just have to watch him self destruct and it's not going to be pretty

Maybe this is a harsh thing to suggest, but perhaps the farms should when Barb dies... Do absolutely nothing. Many kiwis will likely end up helping him. But it might be in Chris best interests to face consequences. Sure he probably won't learn from the experience but at least he'd have suffered the consequence fir his inaction. If kiwi, weens or white knights swoop in and save him it just furthers his ego.

Like when it happens just pick another bum at the very least.

he's faced consequences before (Snyder court case and a day in jail for assault against the Gamestop employee), but he didn't learn from it because of his autistic reasoning. He's never had to learn about consequences because he was conditioned by Borb not to. Kind of ironic that parents have to teach that, but Chris is an outlier. To their discredit, they never sent Chris to the corner or introduced him to his father's belt, although I assume if they did this, Chris might go mute again. Which why Chris became the way he did during the early 2000s.

Imagine having someone like Chris in his mid twenties, and stealing money from mom and dad. That's something that should have been corrected with consequences, but I have a feeling Borb knew as an "adult" Chris should learn better. The end result is Bob dying while Chris plays dress up, and Barb forcing him to sleep with her while they get into trouble with Snyder, their house burns down, Chris goes to jail for assault, and trolls mind fuck him because of a moon laser is threatening his make believe city.

What will Chris learn about consequences in the future? Maybe. He has kept himself from getting into trouble recently in terms of higher consequences involving the police. But personal ones, I don't think so, because he will still fail upwards, and his enablers will treat him like his parents did.

While I fully agree with what you said, don't forget: they will absolutely do it when the time comes. I can already see the announcement thread as the top article in Featured Content, if not the only article there because of the special occasion.
The farms as a whole would absolutely not exist wtihout Chris and Null and other obviously-less-but-still relevant members (like his ex-trolls that became white knights) have a very heavy emotional attachment to him which they would probably deny because of all their years surrounding him and constructing a community around the guy's every action and life detail.
What I'm trying to say is that they will absolutely be there when Barb dies, they will help him (which, even if sounds like bullshit, I'm not demonizing) and Chris, as usual, will not improve, will not learn anything and will not change thanks to the ever-lasting coddling he will never honestly appreciate and/or reciprocate.

I do, however, appreciate that they will be emotional support though,
like when, after Bob's death, they called him (was it a call? videochat? I forget) which was very private (for the group that called him), that very real depressing moment when Chris was emotionally destroyed and they recorded it all, his pain, his crying, for some bizarre vault that they will not show (Obviously. I'm not asking them to release it because that'd be fucked up.) but that they will also never delete, even if, say, Null (with the due respect) would claim they actually did. That kind emotional support will be around after Barb's death as well, that 2nd post-mortem depressing private-but-recorded group call. I just wish they didn't even have to record shit like that, private to them as it is, it's simply not okay. But that's the kind of people that will be closer to Chris and talk to him during those dark times, they will be his consolation and, to him, honest support.

I could see him turning to prostitution

This further shows that trolls have been more supportive of Chris than his mother has ever shown.

Oh, certainly. If there's one thing that makes me genuinely sad about Chris' life is that his mother never truly loved him, at least in the way a mother should love her son. The woman always resented him ever since the moment she realized he was going to be a manchildish burden but, at the same time, knew she was going to live the rest of her life "trapped" with him as her only slightly-willing caretaker. So she's his burden now.

I think barb will live through the 2020's, she's currently 79 80 this year even though everytime Chris posts barb the armchair doctor's say she's on deaths door but I disagree.

2030's is when I think her age will catch up with her, I'm thinking more trips to the hospital maybe she'll go in hospital care in about 2031 2030 at maximum, 2027 at minimum with Barb being 86 at that time and 90 in '31.

Unless she abuses her organs by consuming unhealthy meals like her son, yes I'd say she could live on into another decade.
