The amount of money he spent on legos, during his big lego binge, was probably underestimated on here, mostly because Chris is extremely inefficient in how he buys legos. He refuses to wait or be inconvenienced if the only benefit to waiting is that things are slightly cheaper.
But the dollar amount is a red herring. People here are focusing on the wrong thing. The big picture is that Chris maintains these retarded spending habits because he can. Chris has a very comfortable situation. He spends shitloads of money because, after he's paid his bills for the month, and minus whatever Barb takes from him, he's got lots of money/credit to spend.
We don't have enough documentation of his outbursts because few of Chris' public outbursts end in arrests, or really any trouble at all. We don't hear about the duds because they're not funny.
In practice, this gamestop thing would've been just like the other dozen or so bans Chris has had. Chris goes into a store, acts like a jackass and runs away when he sees the manager. The only reason this was any different was because Chris had pepper spray with him. And in response to this event, Chris is scared shitless of pepper spray and I doubt he'll use it again. He's just going to go back to his normal life.
