Containment What will happen when Barb dies?

I know there's going to be a huge surge in troll's remorse money when barb goes. there's no question. the question is if chris will take the money and run straight to the toy aisle or actually use it to get his mom a funeral. My bet is he'll get teh cheapest funeral possible and drown his woes in shopping at gamestop or whatever.

and when that money runs out, chris is going to stand on his mom's grave and expect more to come in because he 'deserves it.'
 
I think we can breakdown Barb's death into two parts: the immediate aftermath, and the future beyond

In the immediate aftermath, chris will probably continue to play into his delusions of the merge while (hopefully) Null and/or other trusted people attempt to secure a simple, private funeral for snorlax. Funding for this will probably be secured from weens and weirdos on reddit. I'm not sure if barb has life insurance but if she does, chris will receive the money and promptly spend it all on toys.

However the future and beyond is a toss up and its anyone's guess as to what happens to chris. My take? Debtors will collect his house since without barb collecting rent from chris, no one will be attempting to pay debt owed by the chandlers. The state won't give a shit about him and chris will most likely die homeless.

I don't deny this possibility, but I wonder how long they would actually tolerate him before they kick his ass out (honestly I can see them being eager to watch this happen after a month)

Obviously Chris would stay no matter how abusive they were because he was literally bred all his life to be subservant to barb and her manipulative personality.

the reason I dont see chris crashing with weens is that chris is unbearable to be around. He has no sense of cleanliness and has a messed up circadian rhythm. Plus the 1200 a month chris makes will be used to buy toys, he will refuse to give it to some ween let alone barb who collects 900 to pay the mortgage on 14 BLC. I guess worst case chris moves in with sockness and sockness parades chris like an animal. That and maybe chris might realize sockness is his god given joy boy or something.

The worst situation would be a group looking to profit like Praetor convincing Chris to let them let deal with it and then just keeping most the money for themselves.
 
He'll get a decent chunk of change right after she kicks the bucket from weens and remorseful trolls, and probably from casual viewers who have only been introduced to Chris recently through stuff like Geno's videos. The problem is it'll all be gone almost immediately and there isn't going to be much of anything coming in after that initial windfall.

I'm less bullish on the idea that some ween is going to bankroll him. Even if they do, I don't think it would last. They'll eventually get bored, especially if Chris continues to turn inward and becomes even more reclusive after Barb dies, which I think is the safe bet.

No but it is exploiting both Chris and goodwill towards him.

Also it's funnier when it was like the gift basket Null organised to send to Chris after the fire where he doesn't get any toys or money to spend on toys and instead it's just practical stuff (Or in this case funeral related things).

Oh man I cannot wait for Chris to throw a tantrum if people pay for Barb's funeral. I can only imagine the insane reasonings he would come up with for why he should get the money instead of it going to Barb. And he would have plenty of valid reasons, he's in massive debt. But he wouldn't invoke a single one of those and just come up with the most clownish excuse possible.
