Nah, Barb blew it all on their legal defense. She's got worse debt than Chris.
Ward of the state it is, then.

Eh, that's very difficult to pull off, legally speaking.Ward of the state it is, then.

Probably not. They usually pay off as much debt as they can with the estate and leave it at that.If Barb is worse in debt than Chris wouldn't those debts roll over onto Chris?
I imagine Chris will attempt a Spock-like funeral for her as a tribute to Wrath of Kahn
but the coffin would be too wide to fit through the spaceship tunnel

wow I need to catch up on barbBarb has actually lost a lot of weight, which is probably actually not a good thing.
wow I need to catch up on barb
but does she still have excess skin?
i take back what I saidDoesn't look like it from what I have seen.
What will Chris do when Barb dies? I don't know if he's ready to be on his own
Best case scenario, Chris could hold a minimum wage, manual labor job with training and supervision. The key problem with him living on his own is finances. Chris would not be able to manage his own money, and would have to have at least a part time caretaker. This is all assuming that Chris would be willing to work, and also willing to accept supervision, both of which are doubtful.
However. . . . . .
I honestly think that Chris is going to become homeless after barb dies. For the rest of his days, he’ll be that crazy, paranoid homeless guy that hangs around town, complete with tattered clothing and a horrible body odor. Consumed by his ever-growing hatred of Megan and the trolls, blaming them for all his problems, he’ll wallow in self-pity, self-absorbed and unrepentant to the end. Forsaken by his extended family, and completely alone, he’ll steal and beg to get by, munching on what junk food he can get his hands on, and occasionally going to jail for theft and other minor offenses. Finally, after years on the streets, his decades of junk food binges, lack of exercise, and general neglect of health will catch up with him, and he will come down with an ailment that will ultimately kill him. Middle aged and homeless, with no family or friends, penniless, with nothing but hate left to him, Chris will die, forgotten by the internet and the world.
TL;DR
Chris is a exceptional individual who cannot improve.
Car's in his name, so it's fine. I'm pretty confident Barb owes way less than the value of the house. I guess they'd mortgage the house to pay her debts.So...I guess that means that Chris'll have no house? Could he lose his car as well? Seems like a hairy situation to be in. Especially if he decides to commit any more violent crimes.
