Wow! Ok, really!? How much of a sick bitch that hag can be? Did she used herself as hostage in any other occasion?
She goes into hysterics whenever something starts to seriously threaten her interests (or the interests of the Hoard... it speaks to her...).
When Chris started the tranny shit, she flipped out, accusing Chris of plotting to kill her, and flipflopped and said she was going to kill herself. She's batshit and all over the place.
Both Bob and Chris have complained about the hoard and tried to pick it apart at various times. But like I said, she chimped out and strangled that project in the crib.
Barb is abusive and she feels threatened by Chris' independence because she needs him, I read somewhere in this thread that Barb has borrowed against his life insurance and used his credit cards to pay off hers (I might be misquoting that user though) she isn't responsible with money and therefore she uses Chris as personal ATM.
Oh definitely.
In regards to Chris' credit cards: what happened was Chris got an extension on one of his credit cards. He got about $600. He spent a bit of it on toys, and then complained when Barb used the rest to pay off her her debts. Chris complained publicly somewhere that she paid more than the minimum payments.
People made fun of Chris for complaining that Barb was being "responsible" for paying more than the minimums, but no one noticed the crucial detail that she was being responsible... with someone else's money.
She was, in effect, moving her debt onto Chris, so she can leave a pristine, debt-free corpse, I guess. (Or most likely, just free up just enough credit to contribute to the hoard a little more.)
She's manipulated him and made Chris dependent on her so she can continue looking out for her self-serving interests.
Yeah. I think a generous interpretation of Barb is that, while she cares for Chris, she also doesn't see Chris as a full adult/human being. He's more like a pet to her.
She cares about her pets, of course. But if it comes down to her survival or her pets' survival, obviously her survival is more important.
I'm not 100% sure on this but I don't think Chris is there by choice. Barb keeps him there by guilt tripping Chris and threatening suicide so she can kick him around some more and stick her hand in his pocket.
Pretty much. They're codependent.
I would say that most of the time, Barb and Chris are pretty happy together. But when Chris tries to show some independence, Barb chimps out and guilts him about it. He feels bad, feels like it's his fault, and comes back and apologizes. And then they cuddle some more.
I think Chris is getting more independent nowadays though because Barb doesn't have the fight in her to screech at him like she used to. It's been that way for awhile. Chris has basically been running the house for awhile and he hasn't realized it, because of a residual fear of Barb.
Magfest is a great example. I've been trying to get various troll sweethearts to get Chris to go to magfest for years. One time Chris even bought a badge, but Barb flipped out and told him he couldn't go, like last minute. (Note: she had a good reason though, Chris was planning on sleeping in his car.) I was at least hoping the "no refunds allowed" policy that magfest has would mean he's out $80.
But nope, Barb chimped at the magfest organizers, threw the autism card around and got a refund regardless.
This time, Chris grew a spine, told Barb he was going, and went and had a great time. Barb doesn't have the fight in her anymore.
