Do you remember the final attraction sign that Chris was not wearing as a personality

I think One component is shyness and the other component is narcissism. "I am such an overlooked treasure, you should be knocking on my door to tickle my pickle"

I think it could be because of his thought process.

"Hmmm... Whenever I try to ask a woman out she always turns me down, so I must be asking the wrong women. But how am I supposed to know which ones like me and which ones don't? If the ones who like me were to just ask ME out instead I wouldn't have to keep guessing!" Which does make sense if you believe (as Chris does) that there are women who are attracted to him (there aren't.)

No, there are no women desperate enough, but yes I agree he is shy from being rejected, but he is also high on his own farts from Borb telling him how special, handsome, intelligent, and unique he is. He also thinks that he is entitled to China and a relationship instead of working at it like most people. Although he adheres to almost unbelievable gender stereotypes, he also believes that women should do all the work, make the money, be a mother figure, and romance him as opposed to the split down the middle. Although Chris-Chan's autism explains a few things, I have met normal men that act similarly in their outlook on gender relations.

Chris isn't very subtle. So he's got a choice between saying "will you suck my girl dick?" or just rambling for 2 hours about pokemon cards, and just hoping the conversation turns to girl dick sucking. Chris has learned that the former gets people pissed at him.

So I'd say he intends to pick up girls at these events, but he's not actually trying too hard because there are consequences to him crossing a line he cannot see (:autism:). Not to say he won't get bold sometimes. Like if a girl offers to meet him privately to play pokemon, then he'd quickly bust out his "totally innocent questions". But normally? He is kinda scared about crossing lines.

It's weird how he's a mix of extremes: he'll say something spectacularly inappropriate but is also terrified of confronting women. It's not even like a hot or cold thing or an issue of context (every person has been nervous asking out a hottie) but it's as if both extremes happen at the same time and he just stands there with DUH across his forehead.

Remember that episode of curb your enthusiasm where Larry raided the memorial of funkhauser's mother so he'd have flowers to give to his wife?

It'll be like that. Except Chris will raid flowers from Barb's memorial and try to sell them on etsy.

Does anyone think the trans thing will end after Barb passes. I have an inkling that she's somehow nurturing chris' transition into Christine.

Seems unlikely to me. But to be honest, fuck if I know... I think someone said a few pages back, Chris's reaction to her death will probably be completely and totally unpredictable. It could be any of the things suggested here (no matter how ridiculous) or something none of us could have even imagined.

It's entirely possible it will just cause a short circuit in his miswired little brain and produce a reaction that has no basis in his previous behavior up until now.

I don't think so, if anything barb had been the main one against the Tom girl phase. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes it to another level when there is no restraints on him...although I could also see him living in a dumpster by the end of the month. .that's what makes Chris so great you never know what's next..just that it will be creepy, funny and sad at the same time

What other level? Chris-Chan cannot even be bothered to buy the correct dosage of feminizing hormones because it probably takes away from precious Lego and McDonald's money (he takes useless Oestrogel). After Barb dies Chris-Chan may solicit crowdfunding or governmental agencies for a duckectomy, but that will most likely fail. The next level probably includes scaring the public with the Annie wig and rainbow eyeshadow, which has already happened, from what I have read.

When Barb dies, I bet that some people would take BARB-ed wire to her funeral.
Now that I've completed my daily quota of shitty puns, I predict that Chris would go about his life like usual, on and on and on...
A couple of millennia later, some poor soul would stumble upon the decaying remains of Barb's and Chris' skeletons, the last traces of these true, honest and exceptional people.

As far as I know, Barb really doesn't like this tomgirl thing and went mad over his name change.
Barb has always been mad, from fucking somebody in his sixties and shitting out a kid in her forties. She deserves every atom of liability for Chris and his autism.

Now being serious, I can imagine Chris being bored and uninterested during the funeral and burial services, but once everything is over and he returns to his now empty house, I can see him getting scared shitless and desperately typing "HELP! HELP! HELP!" on every social media outlet available to him.

I don't think Chris has ever been completely on his own during his whole life, so the idea of being all alone on a big, cold, dark and creepy house would be devastating for his childish mind.
Probably he would beg Cole to take him in since they are family, and going more and more hysterical after not getting any reply, etc.
