I heard about the incident, but I had no idea how "special" it was. I've known a lot of neurotic people to fuss and blow things out of proportion, but this was just crazy. Emergency services had to filter Chris-Chan's calls for a self-contained fire. Can you imagine if some major appliance broke down after Barb's death "911, I need money because my washer is covered in poopies and will not work, this is an emergency"

To be fair to Chris, he had just lost his house to a fire, and carelessness was a contributing factor. The lesson "be really careful with fire" is a positive one. Even if he takes it too far sometimes.

It's kind of like his driving. People laugh at him for being a really careful driver, but that is probably what you want out of him. It's good he is nervous about fire. It's good he calls 911 when he perceives an emergency. Since we can't trust him to puzzle out the severity of a situation, both Chris and those around him are better off if he errs on the side of caution and asking for help.

I thought he is not a careful driver at all.

He is a careful driver, but he's so bad at driving that it looks like he's not.

Actually, being too cautious might make him a worse driver. If you drive far below the speed limit and overrreact to any perceived danger you might cause more accidents than you avoid.
Lucas and Mimms made reference to multiple dings and scrapes in The Game Place parking lot due to Chris' granny-style driving.

Has anyone seen his "new" Focus in the wild recently? I bet all four bumper corners are caved in and it's covered in paint transfer from other people's cars.

I guess everyone forgot about the "shovel mech" incident, where Chris panicked over a brushfire & called 911 so many times that they started screening his calls.

While also dropping the address of the rental house, because he's Chris.

As my username shows I did not forget it. However I did not know he called 911, I thought he just bitched about it online.

The cops will eventually fine you if you abuse 911 too much for stupid reasons...

But autism you see sir.

It's gotten him out of violent assaults before.

I'm wagering we see a dead or near dead picture of Barb when the time's right, posted on Facebook with some sort of desperate, begging caption.

If he develops some sense he should probably hire a flat rate lawyer to declare bankruptcy and dump all that stupid consumer debt and quit doing that in the future.

Would that even work? Would his interest in Barb's estate not come into play if he does it after she dies or if he does it now and she dies within the period before discharge?

Until someone actually dies intestate or with a will favoring you, you have no assets from it to count toward your bankruptcy estate.

Chris will post video adressed to his family and friends of her passing (because why go througb the trouble of sending out card intives to everyone when you can make one video and expect everyone in the known universe to see it?). Throughout the video, Chris will go off topic and start blaming everyone for wishing ill on the two of them and expect them to pony up some cash for funeral expenses ("No cards of sorrow or flowers, money is preferred.") He'll put some of the cash aside for lego taxes, of course, and after the funeral, he'll make a follow up vid shaming everyone who didn't show up call out Cole or someone to come stay at the house to pay the bills and baby Chris for nothing in return.

I can picture Chris saying "mama...mama..." Like that retard from Gilbert Grape but being too dumb to realize she's dead at first

I'd like to think Cole would step in and take Chris in. Can you imagine what a clash of cultures that would be? Oh they would be at each other's throats within a week. Chris would storm out and get lost. Imagine Chris loose in New York.

If that's all you want, you may as well imagine him being lost on the way to Cole's house, I don't think Cole would actively go out of his way to help Chris if at all.
