In all seriousness, Once Barb leaves this world Chris will have to come to the reality that his mother cannot always be here to take care of him for all his life. He will need to start learning some self sufficiency to take care of himself for the rest of his life. Everyone in this world autistic or not were born to learn to take care of themselves after the job of their parents are done. While it might be possible that Chris will try to get Cole to take him in to his home, that is going to be temporary if Cole does allow him to live with him and his family as Chris is a person that wants to sit around, collect disability checks, and refuse to take care of himself. These events will have Cole make the decision to put Chris into a home where he can be taken care of by people who are equipped with the skills, knowledge and have the patience to deal with Chris on a daily basis.

Barb leaving this world without teaching Chris how to look after himself is going to leave him lost in this world.

Remember a few years back when we had a bunch of gimmick posters, but they were fucking stupid so we told people to stop?

Stop, Amy Lee.

I saw the question of "will Chris inherit Barb's debt when she dies" in another thread but the post was deleted so I'll answer it here.

When Barb dies Chris will inherit the estate. The credit card company will go after the executor of the estate, which will be Chris, for the money. Normally the credit company would take the money directly out of Barb's account, but if there isn't enough the credit company (god help them) will have to work with Chris so the debt can either be forgiven or so a payment plan can be reached. So yes, the debt is going to become Chris's problem if Barb can't pay it off before she dies.

EDIT: I misinterpreted information I got from a source. @Marvin thanks for the clarification.

I'm sure Chris will be sad when it happens, but he seems to be in denial/has lack of understanding of what's actually going on and only seems to care about using her to milk toy money out of the autistic part of this website.

If Barb has $40k in debt and $20k in assets, the credit card company just ends up losing the difference.

I am not reading all 74 pages so excuse me if this has already been answered, any idea if Barb has life insurance?
I think she had one on Chris, which she misappropriated borrowed from. I do not know if debtors in America can take away from windfalls like life insurance, but if Chris does get any money, it will do more harm than good for several reasons.

This is true, but it's also not even exclusively a debt issue. Cole could snatch up half of 14BC if he wanted to. I don't think Barb has a will or anything.
Is Cole that hard up for money he would drag himself into CWC's world? Cole is a prick but he is smart enough to know his brother/sister is far more famous than he can ever hope to be and nothing good ever came of dealing with Chris.

Tens of thousands of dollars is fairly substantial. It's not like he'd even have to do much, just pay a lawyer out of a cut of his half.

That would be if Barb is actually stupid enough to die intestate, though. If she has a will disinheriting him he has no claim to anything.

No matter how much money you have, you can always use more. And getting to screw over Chris might be the icing on the cake.

Judging by her declining health and mental state, she will probably be tossed into an old folks home on the government's dime before she dies. Any income she has will go to state. Chris will get nothing other than house from her, but will ask for sympathy donations and get a huge windfall. Chris will eventually lose the house due to delinquent taxes or something. That is if Chris doesn't get into legal trouble first. I can't see the courts allowing a 35 year old retarded man with a criminal history to live alone in a dirty house.

This could easily be solved with a life estate so the house doesn't end up in probate. Chris become owner on death and Barb or her assignee gets use of house until Barb dies.
I don't see Cole wanting any part of it though. Chris has claim to part, and is unlikely to sell or buyout Cole. Cole would be stuck paying taxes and maintaining the property.

This I agree with, Chris hates change and will be very unlikely to sell and move to a smaller strange apartment. If there is one thing most here can agree on is that Chris prefers living in the past and that includes familiar surroundings.
