Are you a Mad Max kind of guy, cruising around the desert in a battle wagon. Do you prefer a slow but methodical extinction like in XCOM 2. Or maybe your an old school person, and enjoy the thought of God glassing the Earth come Judgement day. Pick your poison.

I’d think mad max would be cool for 5 seconds but I’d imagine if you weren’t killed everyone would smell awful.

I think sunset overdrive would be fun, you can skate on soap shoes and your a cartoon so you get away with laws of physics and rules. The only bad side is some cringe dialogue.

A massive epidemic killing a ton of people.
I have antibodies for the disease. Only me and people I frequent are immunised. Contact with me makes you immunised.

The whole continent is contaminated. I try to find my way to safety with my family.

I reach an untouched continent. They use my cells to make a vaccine and I become an hero.

Yeah its hard to suspend belief for zombie movies because even the american fucking police force should be able to mow down ziggers. Hell a fucking 1700's musket line with canister shot should be able to yeet a zigger horde.

It made more sense with 1970s dawn of the dead, police didn’t have the firearms we do now. That’s why most zombie movies now a days make the zombies fast. Or set it in Britain like 28 hours later

I don't care, I'm fine with whatever as long as it ends civilization and either externinates mankind or forces us back into an equilibrium with nature. If I get to wander around with my rifle + pack and watch the critters thrive, that's just a cherry on top.

No apocalypse scenario is "ideal" to me. But AFAIK, the types of apocalypse with the least amount of suffering that may be possible -- and extremely unlikely to happen anytime soon -- are gamma ray burst, a "strange matter" event, or vacuum decay.

The best kind of "apocalypse" is one that somehow makes this world better. An "anti-apocalypse" instead of an apocalypse.
