I tried making Macarons for the first time last night. Half the batch browned and most cracked but I think I'll nail it next time.

Scrambled eggs

Anyone got any tips on how to make those yellow balls sing?

I like scrambled eggs because no matter what kind of eggs you're making, if it doesn't work out you can pretend you always intended to make scrambled.

Kielbasa and cabbage topped with bacon. Used onions and spices in the bacon fat to make a sort of sauce. Recipe said “great for having guests” but it was so good I ate almost all of it.

Good for you. This was something I could never get right.

It's been a bit since I've even posted anything on the farms, but tonight I made Thai yellow curry with carrots, potatoes, onions and roasted curried tofu.

I haven't cooked in like two weeks because i'm getting lazy about it and i've been eating out.

Anyone got any good recipes that might put the spark back into the kitchen? The last thing I did cook tho was some nice ass borgers for me and my friends. Nothing better than grinding your own beef and making it. Fuck that store bought premade patty shit.

I love breakfast burritos and they're my go to when I'm being a lazy fuck and not cooking. They're simple and you can gussy them up a bit if you want. Make them with a lot of non-traditional stuff you might have in the fridge if you want to experiment. I use different kinds of veggies in mine instead of homefries most of the time. Virtually anything works. Do the eggs over easy so the runny yolk, hot sauce, and melted cheese can combine into a delicious sauce.

I did crepes with whipped cream and strawberry compote all done from scratch. Also bacon, because breakfast.

I also did roasted chicken and veggies with rosemary, lemon, thyme and garlic chicken thighs (skin on).

FFS I started commenting out my recipe. Let's try this as not a fucking sperg:

Egg-Tomato-Cheese-on Toast

Cook eggs(you want to scramble them but try to get two patties), place sliced tomato on eggs, place hot sauce on tomato on egg, apply cheese, put lid on pan to melt cheese, place on toast and consume.

I have to get all the photos to brag about last weeks memorial day feast.

Last thing I made was a club breakfast sandwich since I have 3 slices of seeded Italian left over, 4 eggs, 2 slices of swiss, toasted the bread, over easy the eggs in sesame oil then melted cheese on top of the eggs before droppin into the toast.

Coated in hot sauce and consume, kept me happy till lunch.

Not really cooked, but yesterday I had a sweet potato in the oven for an hour, take it out and put some salt + pepper, along with a pad of butter. I had some broccoli and roasted that with a bit of olive oil.

Delicious.
