Local grocery stored chain ran by asians. It was like $2 for the pack and smells like delicious Chinese spices. I'll let you know how it tastes so you know if it's worth ordering online.
Delicious! Sweet savoury, tasted like duck hanging in a China town window. I made scallion pancakes with and it was perfect.

I made my own hot dog chili tonight, and grilled the franks in the air fryer. The wife liked it, and that's good enough for me. Now that colder weather has set in, going out to eat at night is over. I might publish a cookbook on this thread before Spring if the weather doesn't get any warmer.

I made Dutch oven bread and chicken broth. It took a whole day but it will last like a week.

A lazy but good snack for late night munchies - two ham and cheese sandwiches, made on a lightly buttered frying pan. Press them a little, like on a grilled cheese sandwich and don't add too much cheese (unless it's american cheese, you have to cook like Jack to fuck up that one lol), be careful and don't take too long to flip them!

The buttered side is crunchy, rich and tasty. I honestly only butter up the pan once even if they soak up most of the butter, it gets too overwhelming for my tastes otherwise lol!

The bulgogi I made the other night was fantastic, I guess my fears of fucking it up were unnecessary! It was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had eating a ribeye steak after cutting it into thin strips and marinating it for a few hours. Will do again!

Made mushroom and chicken risotto for the first time tonight and hot damn I've never had rice taste this good before.

Save some money. Try a flank steak or round steak, less expensive. That's what we do, and we've been making pulkogi one way or another for 45 years.

In personal cooking news, made some Cream of Wheat, using milk, yesterday for breakfast. Been having hot cereal for Sunday breakfast with fall starting here. Baked French fries and microwaved some sliders for dinner Sunday. Recently bought some Cream of Rice, first time seen at the commissary in years. When I finish the Cream of Wheat will try some Cream of Rice. Box of Cream of Rice much smaller than Cream of Wheat, doesn't cost that much less.

Chicken tortilla soup. Damned tasty.

(Home grown tomatoes because it's the end of the season and shit needs to get eaten)

I made some really good lobster ravioli with some homemade alfredo sauce the other day. I am happy how it turned out. Husband liked it enough to have some leftovers the next day and he rarely eats leftovers.

Store bought alfredo sauce has the consistency and look of cum and I don't know why anyone wants to eat that stuff.
