Blizzard is part of M$ now so maybe they'll rebrand themselves as Activision/King?Rare? Already dead, it's pretty much just a corpse being puppeted at this point.
Arkane? Hasn't made a good game since 2012.
Compulsion Games? Do they even exist anymore?
343? Absolutely incompetent in every single way, probably gonna rebrand themselves because the name 343 makes everyone vomit a bit. In a perfect world, they would be liquidated and Halo would be tossed over to IdSoft to see if they can do anything with it.
Those are just the ones that I can think of at the top of my head.
The remasters being successful only delayed the inevitable. Larion Studios quickly filled the niche Dragon Age was attempting and failing to fill, Anthem was a disaster, and after Andromeda new Mass Effect games have an uphill battle. If their next game preforms mediocre at best EA will come down on them like a boulder. Remember Visceral had less flops than Bioware and they got the chop and EA had the ability to hold onto Dead Space. I can see the exact same situation happen with all the Bioware IP's.nah remasters of ME were successful

Bethesda does a lot of publishing. They published Prey 2017 and Hi-Fi Rush, and those were well received.I'm not a gamer but honestly I can see Bethesda folding or it's non Skyrim IP's being shuffled around by MS - mostly because of Starfield's utter an complete failure and nothing of note in the pipe line that isn't a rehash of what's been before with graphics 5 or more years behind the current AAA title standard and clunky gameplay.
EA has closed everything except the Edmonton studio already and I guarantee you if Dragon Age 4 isn't a Baldur's Gate 3-tier blockbuster hit (hard to expect given they've rebooted game development 3 times now and all the good devs who made old-school Bioware crunch magic actually work left out of frustration), they're doomed. Easily the best pick.Bioware
I don't even know what Eidos does anymore, and I wouldn't be surprised if they at best broke even on those bazillion-dollar Tomb Raider games of the 2010s.If we're gonna pick one that will simply fail due to the industry overall facing it's third crash, my pick is Eidos.
Bethesda has been dropping nothing but turds since 2018. It's not looking good for them.I'm not a gamer but honestly I can see Bethesda folding or it's non Skyrim IP's being shuffled around by MS - mostly because of Starfield's utter an complete failure and nothing of note in the pipe line that isn't a rehash of what's been before with graphics 5 or more years behind the current AAA title standard and clunky gameplay.
Apparently they were making another Deus Ex entry before the latest publisher they've been handed to killed it.I don't even know what Eidos does anymore, and I wouldn't be surprised if they at best broke even on those bazillion-dollar Tomb Raider games of the 2010s.
If they fuck up Dragon Quest XII, I'm sure they'll end up in trouble. They're getting to be one of those companies where I wonder how they can burn crazy money on flops like Forspoken and Final Fantasy XVI and stay afloat.Square-Enix hopefully.
