Always happy to see people enjoying Dragon's Dogma. Maybe one day when Capcom's head isn't up their collective ass we'll see them revisit this series.

They're actually releasing a free-to-play, open-world sequel on the PS4. I can't recall when, though, and I'm sure there will be micro-transactions. Personally I'd rather just pay them up front for content and be done with it, but we'll see how it goes.

The affinity system in the game is broken. I mean, the fact that NPC's gain affinity just by you talking to them. By doing that, one could end up having Asalam as their L.I. rather than someone you wanted. IIRC, last quest you do for an NPC like Aelinore or Quina, not only could you possibly reach max affinity, the game could have them be put down as your L.I., much to anyone's chagrin in not wanting that specific L.I.

I have Dark Arisen so they did adjust Affinity to avoid getting an innkeeper or merchant as your love interest, but it's still broken. It should be as simple as the person you give the Arisen's Bond to = Beloved. Instead they had to go all convoluted on us.

Thankfully I've paid attention this playthrough so I only have two people with max Affinity and I know who they are and when it happened, but I also want to complete a bunch of quests that tend to max out Affinity. Which is a problem because no way in hell do I want someone like Aelinore as my love interest, yet her last quest is the only way to get access to the Manse. So now I have to go around lowering my Affinity with these specific NPCs (a process that involves a lot of guesswork), then not talk to anyone until Deny Salvation locks in my love interest. THEN I can finish the quests without the risk of getting stuck with psycho woman or, god forbid, Fornival.

Yeah. . . that's kind of the opposite of Capcom getting it together. What a waste of the Dragon's Dogma IP.

I'm currently playing Ikaruga. I'm working to beat it without using a single continue, but holy hell is that hard. There are so many difficult moments throughout the game, such as Boss #4's final phase, which basically traps you in this confined area with this huge dome that takes up 80% of the space you have. It doesn't help that the game isn't very lenient when it comes to giving you lives.

Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden. Made it to the furry sewer village.

Terraria. It's something I can pick up for 5-10 minutes and still get a couple of things done with my short attention span.

Once in a while I play FTL and Magicite, but haven't beaten them yet. The final bosses (Or at least the minions) anyways get me.

It's nice to be able to play New Vegas without crashing every 2 minutes now.

Big pics.

Tetris Ultimate for 3DS. I have this because I wanted to see if Tetris for GameBoy was on the 3DS Virtual Console but I found out that Ultimate has many more gameplay options. I've risen to blue belt rank since I probably last said I was playing this.

Also found some activity in Rise of the Triad 2013 online last night and found out that I need much practice, but also that I can be deadlya danger to myself and others with the Firebomb. Also I was #TYCED with a bazooka by Bob the Skeallingtin multiple times. #pronkmaster #skealitinwar #tycenado #summerslam

Finishing up Dark Souls.

I've grinded up to level 92 so I can finally wield Dragon Tooth one-handed and make the giant stone knights in the DLC way easier to manage. Beat both Seath and the Bed of Chaos. Fuck the Bed of Chaos, the only goddamn reason it was anything other than easy was the pit in front of the core. Still need to make a run through Ash Lake before finishing up, but I hate navigating The Great Hollow.

I'd do it now but it's late as shit..

edit: I'm fighting Knight Artorias. Fucker hits like a truck when he gets going. So far this has been one of the most adrenaline-inducing boss fights in a game for me.

Yeah man, out of a dozen or so runs I don't think I've managed to kill it in a single attempt once. Something dumb always seems to happen that kills me or I screw up that jump into the pit.

Playing MH4U right now, having a great time. Going through high rank guild at the moment, my internet is terrible right now due to reasons so I'm having to play solo. I haven't had to play any G rank content alone since Freedom Unite so we'll see how that goes. Looking forward to getting my shit slapped around hard just like the old days.

Murdered: Soul Suspect, it's better than what people say it is. It's like Phoenix Wright meets Deadly Premonition. Worth the 10 bucks I paid for it.

  • Replaying Watch Dogs and paying special attention to the side-games. I love the drinking games
  • Playing through Skyrim with a Dunmer, haven't used a Dunmer since Morrowind
  • Arkahm City obligatory yearly playthrough

I've been playing a great deal of Thief the Dark Project (or well the Gold re-release).

I've gotten to The Mages Tower level. Which was added in the re-release. I've gotten much farther than I ever did before.
